I love peonies, too. I have a lot of plant nursery friends. Someone told me once that if you want peonies for a certain time, it is possible to make them bloom at a given time. I forget exactly what she said but I think it has to do with putting them in a cold place and "shocking" them at just the right growth time and forcing them to bloom.

Jay Lowe gets me every time! He is inspirational as a parent to me. The unconditional love and support he gives his family is beautiful. My mom remarried after I was grown and I feel that kind of acceptance from my new step father. It really makes for a loving family. I still have 3 kids at home and think about it in my own approach with my kids. I'm so happy for Cat that she gets him as a father-in-law and her kids as a grandfather. He's definitely a bonus in this love story, such a good man.

And ps.. peonies are my absolute favorite. There is a flower called a peony tulip, which I was thinking might be easier to get in Jan. It sort of looks like a cross between a peony and a parrot tulip.

Jay is a gem, for sure. Thats why I think he has to be officiating the wedding. Production knows a golden tissue moment when they see it so unless Sean is adament that he wants his dad as his best man, I expect to see Jay standing with them on that altar and uniting them under God in marriage.

I agree with you ladies, Jay is a great father and Catherine is very lucky to have him as a father-in-law. Yesterday after reading this article, I went back to watch the final date that Catherine tells Sean how much she appreciates his family. I am sure Catherine had really seen something in them because she said her life is going to be better because of the family. You can really see how much the families loves her and how much she loves them too. I just think both Sean and Catherine's families are very special. It was also very sweet to see how much Catherine's mothers supports his new son-in-law during dancing with the stars. I am so happy to see so much love covering this couple. They are really standing on strong foundation and their marriage will be truly blessed.

Loving all of her wedding ideas. The peonies will be perfect. If only we could somehow get a sneak peek of the wedding dress before the big day!

I'm loving all these peonies too!! I've always been a rose girl myself, but I'm now sold on these peonies! Catherine is getting the wedding of her dreams, so if she wants peonies, I'm pretty sure that ABC will get them for her. Remember Trista wanted pink everywhere and she got that lol? I love pink, but it was a way bit much, to say the least.

I just think it's funny that we're all oohing and aahing over the peonies, myself included, and she might not even go with that. What if she picks something else completely lol.

Also love the peonies. I can't wait to see her dress either. I think one thing we know about it is it will have a beautiful back. And, with that I think she'll also possibly be wearing her hair up now where I had always envisioned it down.
