I don't know what happened. I found JPG saying in his blog today that when Nikki said ILY he wasn't feeling the same interesting. If he pulls a Brad 1.0 I will be okay with that, because I think that takes a lot of courage. If he chooses to date one, I hope it is Nikki and I would prefer this.

If they fell more in love post show great, if not Nikki is awesome and I think she will be just fine. I have been impressed how well she seems to know herself for a 26 year old woman.

He said he wasn't there "yet". Which I believe is his hint that he won't propose at the FRC. I read somewhere that he said we will be surprised or something like that on March 10, which makes me feel he will propose at the ATFR. where then that 100% sure plays in. Just my thoughts.

I kind of hope we don't get to see a proposal at all. While they have gotten to know each other better, to me this still isn't the real world, so wait and make sure.

And he did say yet. I kind of like JPG and Nikki, for me they have the best relationship on the show.

I hope we don't see a proposal and I hope they are getting to know each other now and enjoying each other's company. A lot more realistic.

RS is already setting the stage by saying that JP is going to propose because there is money on the line at the AFTR. Somehow I don't think that would be the reason JP would propose. They get paid extra if there is a proposal at the end, so if JP didn't take it then, why would he get greedy all of the sudden and propose now? I don't know what to make of JP because I don't know him, but I'm starting to see that he may be getting a bad deal; people judging him too harshly because JP has said some dumb things...and his English is not good enough to fend for himself, Ay ai ai.

I think the tech missed a spot.   

I don't want to see a proposal at the final rose ceremony. Spoilers or no spoilers, we KNOW that Juan Pablo isn't as ready for marriage as most of his predecessors, and only one of them was truly ready to marry his final pick. If JP does propose, I think it will be for the money, and I think Nikki will long run be hurt more because of it. Unless they've talked about it together and agreed that he should take the money ... if she looks like she is acting surprised, that is probably actually better than if she IS surprised.

I'm curious about what others think.

When Nikki said "I love you" I thought JP initially lost his usual composure then recovered. I felt he was engaged throughout but seriously taken aback. He was just flapping in the wind for a few seconds. To me that means he was not at all prepared and totally dropped his guard. I'm guessing he recognized she is pragmatic and thought she was on the same page as him in thinking you couldn't be 100% in this process so logical there would be no engagement if he chose her in the end. I feel he never expected her to say this on camera, when they were soon to have privacy, given her personality.

Up to this time he might have seen her as someone to date because there was serious life partner potential but she stepped on the gas here. Also she said something like "I think you already know this" before her proclamation but I wonder, if by his reaction, she realized that she had misjudged that. (A startling revelation)

Clare saying "falling" in love isn't quite as scary.

I see very different lives dependent on which woman is F1 (if there is one) and both have their good points and challenges.

  I think you are absolutely right. JP looked stunned. He even addressed it in his blog: "She decided to spend the night with me, but before that, she dropped the “I love you.” I wasn't really expecting that, and you could see it by my reaction. As my feelings for her are not there yet, I wanted to keep quiet rather than saying something that she may have taken the wrong way."

I think JP was thinking about Nikki as F1 because it wouldn't have to be a serious relationship and he viewed her as someone he could let down easy later on.

IMO, he has an idea but did not expect Nikki to verbalize it in front of camera. What i find intriguing is why he has to explain this in his blog and only address his reaction to Nikki's declaration and nada about Clare.
