Here's a shocker (or not), from RS's blog:

According to my sources, there is a monetary offer on the table for Juan Pablo to propose to Nikki on the “After the Final Rose” show.

Does it mean it will for sure happen? I don’t know. If it does happen, will this be talked about publicly? Of course not. So there’s no way I can prove this you, but I think my track record speaks for itself. I have no idea what goes on in that guy’s brain. Depending on how desperately Juan Pablo needs money I guess, and how much he’s willing sell out for the almighty dollar will determine if he proposes. But that offer is there, and I guess we’ll see if he takes it come March 10th. Regardless of if he proposes on the live show or not, the point is, it’s fake. He’s never going to marry Nikki. Nothing has changed with this guy. He doesn’t want to be married to her, he never wanted to be married to her, and all he’s doing is playing a character on a TV show. They’ve upped the ante now with not having the lead propose for the first time in at least 10 seasons (on the finale taped in November), but on live television, of course they’d want him to, so my sources say they’ve added the monetary incentive. Makes sense for them to offer. Don’t think it makes sense for him to accept, but maybe he will. Just wanted to give you a heads up since that’s now a possibility at the ATFR. Regardless, he will never marry Nikki in your lifetime or mine, so, I would put zero stock into it if he does propose. Means nothing.

The sad thing about this piece is RS has basically loaded his bases so that he can continue to be "right" . If JP doesn't propose in the finale RS is right about JP being fake; if he proposes at the ATFR then RS is right about JP being fake; if he doesn't choose anyone then RS got the ending wrong but he can say "JP is still fake". He has such a convoluted view.

If the production could not manipulate JuanP during the filming how much more after? It's like someone from the production is purposely trying to sabotaged JuanP reputation. If indeed he chose Nikki but did not propose he is damned; and if he proposed after filming or during the AFR, a doubt has already been planted that its all about money.

Just read JuanP blog. As always, there's another tidbits about Nikki. This time about her fear of waves. Also what is interesting is that he address Nikki's declaration of " i love you". Clare also professed her love but it was not mentioned in his blog.

You know in the previews they showed last night of the finale, Nikki says something along the lines of I've looked at all the negatives and I still want this.....I don't want to loose this. This tells me Nikki is in love with JP. Andi wasn't in love so when he did a couple of things that annoyed her, she was outta there. I thought last night, if Nikki and JP are indeed still together and he didn't propose like RS says, would he propose on the ATFR?

While I do read RS's blog, I can't stand him!

I am sick of RS. He was wrong last season, then shouted that Chris and Des would not make it. He is wrong and now sees they will get married.

He said Nikki was a total bitch. I think we see she wasn't the sweetest in the house, but in no way was she the total house bitch. Now no matter what happens he is trying to poison the outcome. Such a jerk.

I don't know what happened. I found JPG saying in his blog today that when Nikki said ILY he wasn't feeling the same interesting. If he pulls a Brad 1.0 I will be okay with that, because I think that takes a lot of courage. If he chooses to date one, I hope it is Nikki and I would prefer this.

If they fell more in love post show great, if not Nikki is awesome and I think she will be just fine. I have been impressed how well she seems to know herself for a 26 year old woman.

Me too! I am so glad that I watched this season unspoiled until F4. I can't stand RS writing style and smugness so stopped reading him.

I don't know if JuanPa is capable of longterm relationship but I do think that he will pick Nikki at the end because he does seem to treat her differently than the others. She's a gorgeous model/nurse with a totally rocking body ... what guy wouldn't pick her as F1?! She's also way more low maintenance than Clare who is just way too much work for someone like Juan Pa who has probably never had to work too hard in any relationship.

I have to add that I was able to pick Nikki as F1 without any help from RS. After watching episode 1's season previews, I picked the "bleached blonde on the horse" as F1 in my Bachelor pool with friends so I got $$ riding on Nikki for the win. TPTB tend to always edit the night 1 season previews in the same way. F2-4 get lots of face time in previews (along with the woman who peaks before HomeTowns: Sharleen this season, Tierra last season) while F1 is usually there but more hidden to casual viewer in the exotic locations.

If Nikki and JP make it past six months, super. If not, Nikki ... stay away from Jef Holm ... and find a nice doctor in KC.

^^ Agree with the previous posts. So glad my pre-season thoughts about Nikki changed! I wonder how Nikki feels watching the show and all the media crap JPab got himself into the past few months. Probably slightly embarrassed but only she knows the real him, away from the cameras, spending all this alone time together. Yes he didn't propose at the end, which was the right thing to do, but maybe he will during ATFR? Whatever happens, I wish Nikki nothing but the best.

Nikki described herself as a strong person. If she's the F1 and stood by JPab amidst this controversies i think there is a possibility that the relationship will work out. If not, then it means that the feelings is skin deep only. It would be good if there is no proposal since it's more realistic. As what her dad said, JPab should propose only if he is 100% sure.
