I would assume by JP's response that there is no truth to the L& S headline and he choose an F1.

To have someone your really interested in leave after 2 dates (Sharleen) realistically isn't that big a deal.
One-sided relationships aren't really a relationship ... takes 2. Besides, from the getgo JP has been interested in Clare and Nikki. If mutual interest is sustained by both then you have a relationship. It's only default on the show when you aren't interested in one or more but you have to keep them because of the way the show works.

Cause if Sharlene was the one he really wanted he wouldn't have given up so quick. He seem quiet relieved.

I think JPG really did like Sharleen, but I also respect his opinion of not being able to make someone who doesn't want to be with you want you. Took me a lot of years to stop trying to change myself to make others happy. It is one of the things I like best about JPG.

I don't know if Sharleen would have been his F1, I think there is a good possibility. But she left early enough and there was enough interest with Nikki and chemistry with Clare that I don't think it is a situation like it was with DeAnna where she was having to try to make herself interested in someone else.

The thing about this show to me, is it is easy to say that things would have been different if someone hadn't left, but we never really know.

I think Ashley would have chosen JP, even if Bentley hadn't left, they were meant for each other.

I think Ali would have chosen Frank if he stayed, she was hot for Roberto but Frank touched all her other buttons.

I think Des would have picked Brooks had he stayed, but it wouldn't have lasted. I really think Des should thank Brooks for opening her eyes and heart completely to Chris.

With JPG, I don't know, maybe Sharleen would have been it, but meeting the families could have changed that too. I remember Bettina's family on Brad 1.0, I felt they changed his mind from Bettina being his F1.

I like the way JPG talks to Nikki, so I hope if he chooses her they make a go of it.

I don't like Clare and if JPG picks her, I would lose a little respect for him.

I agree you shouldn't force nor can you force someone to love you back, cause I certainly wouldn't want that. That's why I'm not on board with these leads picking just to be picking cause the "one" got away. Sharlene was there up until it was time for the HTD and had 2 1-1 enough time for JP to gorm meaningful feeling for her. But he shown no emotions of hurting cause she chose to leave. He didn't hesitate to tell her it's okay, he understand. He carried on like it was no big deal. Which it seem like to me he was relieved that he didn't have to break another heart.

Or Jef Holm brother telling him on camera he had never known his brother to want a family, child, etc. for himself at that stage of life.

He wasn't trying to keep his intented F1 there, as a matter of fact he was helping her out the door.

Yep! And one thing I noticed about Juan, once someone makes it clear to him that they don't want to stay, he won't keep them no matter how much it hurts.

IMO, Sharleen leaving shook his foundation a little be though. But now, with Andi leaving and that argument, It looks to me like he is questioning his decision to come to the show and the remaining ladies. Maybe he will get some clarity after going on another date with them. Can't wait to next week episode.

Very true! Juan and Sharlean had a one sided relationship, therefore doesn't count as a relationship. Reading on Brookes post, he said that he wanted to leave early, but the producer told him to wait.. so they stay longer., not cus they want to, but, cus the producer make them stay.

The beauty of this is that while the lead is lusting over the one who don't want them, they(lead) are also developing deep and real feeling for the ones who are showing them love. So when the lust leaves, they are able to clearly recognize the one who is better fitted for them.. very interesting how that works.

I think he kind of deep down knew that she might eventually leave, but was hoping that she stays. and I think all of them have that feeling, but there is something about the individual that intrigues them, so they chase, reassure, and hope ..so, they get blindsided
My thing is if you have to reassure someone to stay more than once, send them home. Cus, if they can't stay committed to the 12 weeks they signed up for, it 's not just the process they are having a problem with, there is something about the lead they don't like but, can't put their finger on. So, let them cus they will leave sooner or later...
