Nannymargie I've seen a few but, it's always seems like whoever posts it is just kidding around. I don't think anyone would mention something they don't think it's serious or there is no way to confirm it. Don't want to start any rumors or give the Stir any ideas.

Ok, It is just odd that if he was dating that someone did not take pictures and tweet it.

Atem I know you were kidding but, it could be. Brooks tweeted this afternoon that he is in Tampa. It seems that he's there kind of early. Maybe there was a stop in Miami? It's not impossible.

I was unable to go to sleep tonight, so I watched the notorious breakup again to see if there were any clues I missed back in august. All it did was make me very sad. I still wonder how a person can go from the total dispair and hopelessness Desiree experienced when Brooks left her to accepting Chris's proposal just five days later. I'm convinced she was talked into it by the prodicers. I want her happy which she is ; I'm so happy for her. But, the whole thing was bizarre !! I sure wish I had been a fly on the wall...there's still such an element of mystery lingering ..so when I get my bouts of insomnia...it's this stuff that keeps my mind racing..

Judiful I feel for you. Watching the infamous break up will make you sad every time you watch it. I've watched enough times to know. I had a hard time dealing with the break up too, but what help me is realizing that Desiree was not just dating Brooks and that she did have feelings for Chris too. When she said she was conflicted because she didn't want to share her heart, in a way she was saying he wasn't the only one there. If he was, there would be no conflict. Des did cry a lot but I don't think it was total despair. As she told Chris H, her heart was broken but not her spirit. Heart breaks are always tough but, I can say from experience, if it happens enough you do develop coping skills that help you to move on in a short time. Remember it was only a few short months that Des was heart broken over Sean Lowe. We also don't know whether she was able to get counseling behind the scenes to help her. Remember also that given the situations they are in where they don't spend any time alone together (except the fantasy suite) while they may fall in love, I honestly don't think the connection is the same as if you are dating someone exclusively and having that alone time. That being said, I don't think it would be impossible to move on quickly from that. Desiree said it was two weeks between when Brooks left and she accepted Chris proposal (we saw it in one week). Another thing I looked at that really opened my eyes was the Kiss Leader Board for the Show. Who do you think got the most kisses? It was not Brooks. Chris not only got the most but it was also the kind of kisses he got, the make out and hot tubs ones. There is something to be said for passion. If you want to understand Des' decision, you have to look at the whole picture, including watching dates with Chris. You may see some of what you missed there. I did!
