Mostly lurking these days, but had to comment on Shay and Andrew's news. Many hearty congratulations to the whole family. As an adoptee myself, it warms my heart to see them open their hearts and their family to welcome someone home. PINKHEART

The fact that The Shull's are adopting just made me like them more. Bless them for that.

So question. I read Shay's blog about the adoption and she said they hope to have the baby home with them by next fall. Does she mean Fall 2013 or Fall 2014 do you think? I certainly hope they don't have to wait a whole year to bring her home.

It does take a long time to take your baby home especially from outside the USA. My brother has two adopted sons and the red type is difficult. But it is SO worth it. Congrats to the lucky baby and her new Mommy and Daddy. Lucky Kensington and Smith they get a new baby sister. I've never been a fan of Shays but this certainly scores points for me. I hope Aunt Catherine and Uncle Sean, married by the time the new Shull baby is here, enjoy their new niece.

I haven't been here that long myself but I'd also like to welcome you asianAnnieb. You're right about this being a fun place to be. So much fun! I've always been so impressed with how fast they can find information, pics, etc. and bring it here. Truly amazing! It's so much fun keeping up with our favorite couple and our obsession. And, whether you're having a bad day or not this place and all your new friends will soon put a smile on your face and put you laughing to tears. It's a wonderful place to be, so again, welcome.

Oh, I haven't read her blog. I thought since they were making the announcement now, that it was happening soon. Well I guess it's like pregnancy, you have to wait almost a year for the baby to get here. Fall 2014 does seem like a really long time though.

I'm curious to know what brings Ashley and JP to LA. Hoping we will get a sighting or two, perhaps even with Sean and Catherine. Now that would make it a great Friday!

welcome from me too asianAnnieb. I'm a fairly recent member of this family and I love being able to come here everyday. We share so much, we are friendly, bright, literate, and come from so many different places and so many different walks of life. The glue that holds us all together is our "good obsession " with the lovely Catherine and handsome prince Sean.
Enjoy the laughter and the sometimes silly rauncy humor and the serious discussions on life. A lot to learn from each other !

So great to hear Shay and Andrew are adopting. What an exciting time for the family. I know Sean has mentioned in the past perhaps wanting to adopt as well.

and yes! this place is so impressive!!! it's packed with infos and pics etc. that i haven't seen or known before,! goodness i wish i found this place a lot sooner! grrr duh
