I am able to accept the sleuthing that JP is the F1. But I also could see Ben as the F1 - I see developing fondness. What does romance look like - it's differen for all couples. It's not how much you gaze into the other's eyes or how much you kiss them as we have seen in other shows. Who would have thought if Brad hadn't told us - that he was falling for Emily? I guess because I would be taking my time in a situation like this. I might be "snowed" by a guy - but it would be the gradual appreciation of them - plus of course the physical attraction which would give me enough confidence to accept a proposal. I don't understand the short dates that JP apparently had - why wouldn't he get day and into night dates? Why was Ashley so miserable after Bentley left - she felt so alone, she felt she should quit the show. What does that say about her feelings for JP? But then along comes Ben who has been more hesitant -- or slow. They are relaxed - they kid each other. He likes where this is heading - she likes where this is heading and they are seen laughing hysterically with each other about the dog talk- as she says "something he should know about her ..." So there is not a lot of this that makes sense to my logical mind... But I do accept that it is Ben that arrives first at the FRC and it looks like he walks off. I have to say I am sympathetic about his being led on and then dumped once he has fallen - but if one has watched this show even once - you see one person is always led on and then dumped. He appears to be ok so I am fine with all of that. But there are a few gaps in the logic of this romance otherwise !

One of Ashley's earrings has white pearl top and gray pearl bottom the the other is the reverse. At some point in the day they switch although look the same because some of the SCs are flipped. Clear as mud? :laughingoutlou

Either Ashley accidentally switched them when freshening up, they filmed bits at a different time and didn't bother to check it, or they edited it in hopes we wouldn't notice the flipped bangs. All of this isn't important unless it happened in between the guys and would give a clue to when something happened.

If it isn't JP, then how can he be so confident in the video that he just released that everything ends well for Ashley? The F2 is ushered away and doesn't know the ending (aka Deanna and Jenny). So how would he know if the F1 proposed to her, unless he was it?

Look at this video at the 7:17 minute mark it appears JP is reaching to get the ring out of his pocket. Then look at the 7:20 mark Ashley's eyes follow his hand down to look at something. Then go to the 7:49 mark she looks like she is about to smile before he is about to get on one knee away from the direction the wind is blowing. Notice Ashley keeps trying to keep her hair out of her face there. As soon as she turns her hair isn't an issue anymore. IMO:

I just watched the video. He seems happy, which is good! But, he never said anything about Ashley being engaged. Just that "good things are coming to her". Which could very well mean HTDs and Fiji. Even if he is F2, he would assume that Ben would propose, which is also considered "good things". If thats the case, then JP is a real man and knows how to want the best for those he loves.

I'm not sure who is F1/F2. I know that when I watched the preview, I immediately thought it was JP getting out of the plane. Why? I have no real reason. The way he was walking reminded me of JP over Ben. I also thought it was JP who walked away. And I thought the hands in the pockets thing was to reach for the ring. But, thats just from a first impression glance.
