hmm, his tweets do seem like subtle digs about the show but that means he still cares if he's doing that. just sayin'. the one about barcelona reminds me of des saying time accelerated so she was so able to get over him and pick chris after he left. the other one is making fun of chris and his interminable poems.

Let me start by saying I love all the pictures and updates of Brooks. Many seem to be happy about moving on to this new phase but I'm still not there yet. Is anyone else still totally in shock with what happened last week? I'm new at this so what is an appropriate amount of time to grieve an ending that still seems so wrong to me?

Secretviewer had a post yesterday that seems to be how I feel right now. Why do I still feel so sad about the outcome? Maybe because I was spoiled and so sure Brooks was coming back the question wasn't if, it was how. The week from 7/29 to 8/5 took forever. Would the last episode start with him turning the car around and running back to Des? Would he go talk to CH again and say that he had made a mistake. Would he show up at the FRC ?(I was hoping not). He was gonna go back but how?

Then is the disappointment of not being able to see Des and Brooks on their FD and LCD. The setting was so beautiful and romantic and Des was so excited. It was all the dreaming about their love continuing to develop and Brooks realizing what she meant to him. I had all these wonderful scenarios in my mind (so did Des) and none of it came true. The show dragged on and on and on and no Brooks. The ending sucked, I'm just saying.

I know Chris is thrilled and Des does seem happy but I still think she settled. Brooks has moved on but sometimes I wonder if he has regrets. ATFR there seemed to be unresolved feelings between them. He was so close he could touch it.... I wonder what would have happened with a little more time and without the pressure of a proposal. I guess we will never know.

You not alone Rolly I am still not happy with the way it ended. You could still see the chemistry they had ATFR. Some people think that she was over Brooks but personally I don't think she is. I also think he still cares for her and was kinda shocked when she said she was engaged to Chris. I don't know if it would have made any difference if he knew before that she was in love with him. Maybe he would have looked at what they had differently. He was feeling it at his HTD but his sister and brothers started making him questions things and that's when his doubts set in. I cannot forget when he said this was the closest he felt to a union of marriage with her. It just still baffles my mind on what the hell happened. I guess we will get over it one day.
