Actually, I think that is Brooks good friend...he's the one that tweeted to him "I've been rooting for you since 2009". I think he is a family friend, many of his siblings are friends with him too.

Yeah, I know. It would be cool though.

I followed Chris on twitter after the show, to see his personality. I lasted about a week. He was posting excerpts of his poems....I thought that was just his shtick for the show. Apparently he takes his writing seriously. Not for me...If someone writes me a poem, romantic, but put it on twitter...not so much. I was and always will be a Brooks fan. I didn't like the ending, but I'm glad that Brooks can live on to find what he is looking for. I am disappointed in Des, and I have no interest in what she chooses to do with her life. Chris is selling poems, she is selling her love for Chris. Perhaps they are meant for each other.
Wait...he is not really "selling" his poems right? Please tell me mean that figuratively not literally....

Yes, Chris is a little too vanilla for me. The strange thing is that I LOVED Des on Sean's season. She was funny, energetic, and witty but watching this season she was a completely different person. Dull and boring. Half the time her voice lacked energy or enthusiasm. I don't get it. What the heck happened? Did they tone her down so that she would seem a better match for Chris? Its so strange to me because her personality from Sean to now seems like night and ay.

Depends on how you look at it. Yes he is tweeting his poems. But if they are personal why put them out there? Maybe he is looking past his present situation, and looking for a deal down the road? Either way, they bore me. Elan was right in calling him out, what purpose do they serve now to the general public, if they are meant for his one true love?

That's the beauty of the 'unfollow' button and heck, you don't have to follow any of them to read the tweets anyway or join twitter to see them.

I think she really appreciated and was genuinely touched by the poems in AC and Germany. But looking back on her date in Maidera with Chris she looked downright BORED crafting that poem. She also looked embarrassed by his poem on ATFR. Not trying to be mean but its what I saw.

I agree with you all. Chris is vanilla. Chris writes too many poems. Desiree calls him the man of her dreams. I guess if that's her dream. I always thought Brooks would be more of the man of one's dreams type. I wonder if she'll ever, ever regret getting engaged instead of seeing if there was still a chance with Brooks after. If she were me I wouldn't have given up on Brooks. But that's just me.

She definitely was more alive with Brooks than with anyone else. With Chris she would seem to take on his more subdued personality. In my opinion, she was more alive with Zak than Chris. I really liked her around Zak especially their 1 on 1 date at the gallery. And she would just light up around Brooks no question. Its so strange to me because her personality from Sean to now seems like night and day.

Maybe there is more pressure being the lead than a contestant. But she was sure a lot more perky on Sean's season.

I guess I disagree with you somewhat....Brooks gave up on Des, not the other way around. I have no doubt in my mind that Des would have picked Brooks if he stayed (and had come back). But he was gone and she wanted to be loved by somebody. Chris was the one that was there. How could she have gambled that he would want her after? I do agree that she should have walked away and not have gotten engaged to Chris. I would have preferred her saying that she they should just "date" in the real world.

I saw a tweet from someone jealous of a friend getting to workout with Brooks next to her. If only we could get a vid of that! :P There really isn't anything to watch. I wish we got to at least see his intro vid!
