You know this is the first post I've read that points this out but it's a very accurate observation. I suspect some observers look with a jaundiced eye at them being in LA, but reality suggests otherwise.

Time spent anywhere else seems consumed with activity with family and friends. Their time in LA is spent not at trendy restaurants or night spots looking for paparazzi but in front of the TV with Taco Bell dinners. LA is their sanctuary and the time they spend there is way more private than the time they spend anywhere else. Whatever "business" is keeping them in LA notwithstanding, it's LA where they are alone and private and able to do the things they enjoy doing together.

 
I agree the key here is whats been said by Lucas15 and scarre_me this morning. It's what I've been thinking all along. Catherine and Sean are NOT living their lives for the benefit of the camera. They are trying to live a private life in the middle a public life. I think they're are succeeding very well because their first thoughts always seem to be for each other. If that doen't say committed relationship I don't know what does. In LA they have their private space to cuddle at home, watch TV, go to the gym, go to church, simple things. Not glamerous everyday although there may occasionally be glamerous things. Mostly simple couples stuff. We fans are lucky the include us with some tweets, IG videos etc to let us share somewhat in their lives.

Well wherever they ultimately end up living, the quality time they are spending together now is invaluable and is only strengthening their relationship. I like the romantic notion that Sean wants to stay in L.A. so he can spend all his time with Catherine right now.

The thing is, the more time they spend together, the happier they seem as a couple. They truly found the love of their lives and their best friend, in each other. What could be better than that?  

FWIW, Catherine also hinted in the tweet thread that they will be headed to Texas "soon" per her twitter conversation with Ashlee.

In any case, I am happy that they're happy. That's all that matters in the end. :)

While I don't wish her on Des and Chris, I'm so glad Mary Fischer from The Stir has someone else to focus her articles on other then Sean & Cat.

Isn't she the one who finally believes in Catherine and Sean? Since it is her nature to be negative, that's no fun anymore. So she's moved on to a couple that's still new enough that people question whether it will last.

Hi Jcrbil - Yes, finally. Her last couple of articles had been pretty positive (for her) but it definitely took awhile.

Sean is a very smart man and I am very proud of his decisions. I agree living in LA just the two of them was a great decision, they both had an opportunity to learn about each other without added pressure from anyone. For most of us who are married we really understand that families bring their own challenges especially to new relationships. Also friends can be challenging too. I like the fact that they have managed to spend quality time just the two of them and I am sure by now they truly appreciate and understand each other.

Anyway I am kinda annoyed how these people keep saying that seancat are fame whore because they are still  in LA even his season  and his part on DWTS are over blah blah . They are even saying that the new couple left the Hollywood life which is smart idea and they are thinking that more about them not fun of the Hollywood life and throw everything in there . Applauding them for swapping their life to more quiet life . I don't think it's about where do you lived ? It's up to you to live and take care of your life together . We know that people think that way when you are in LA judging that you are a product of reality show for sure media will be all over your face and life . I think that's not always the case and if you allow yourself to be that person and allowing to change the way you are  then that's not good. I am very happy of the way seancat handled the pressure of the media and all these crappy tabloids and trying to put them down after sean season finished . You are really feel how hard was that for them but they managed to understand and they are both smart what this Hollywood is all about. Sean is such a smart guy and he prioritized wifey during that time and it's amazing . And you can see right now how their love keep growing and happy together and that's so nice to see. Wherever they gonna live in the future and settle to live for good doesn't matter.  Just saying .
