If this isn't what I'm remembering then its pretty close as far as who would go home instead. He didnt say "if I kept her then I would have to send Catherine home". He said "someone else home".

I recall at the end of the season the ABC site had this Q&A that they were going to do with Sean called "AskSean". Fans could ask questions and they would post his answers after the finale. They never did though. I asked about the HT elimination then. Oh well.

ilove I particularly agree with this. I think going into HTD Sean's order (from F1 through F4) was Catherine, Lindsay, Des then AshLee. I think he saw Des and Lindsay somewhat similarly - fun, easy to be around - and AshLee was a bit too intense for him. HTD could have changed the order in his mind but the only change was to let Des go before AshLee - not because of Nate but because of what Nate said that made sense to Sean. Cat's sisters had some impact but it's clear on the date we just watched how well Cat addressed any doubts Sean might have had in ways that made perfect sense to Sean and after that there was zero doubt in Sean's mind. Sean played along with the story line about Des and Catherine but then Sean was a good lead in that regard all season. He found a way to give the show the show they wanted and still find the girl he wanted and that's no easy task.

This is a highly edited show, that mostly sticks to a formula of the Bachelor/Bachelorette being torn between the F2. This season with Des had so much drama, as has some previous seasons, so they change it up. But mostly they stick to the standard torn between the F2, which is what I believe they told Sean to do, since there was no drama involved in his ending. But no way was he torn, he knew who he wanted, and the more I go back and watch the videos, the more obvious the love story becomes.

How long has it been since we have seen any ending other than a proposal that is accepted? And a lead torn until the last morning when suddenly they have this startling moment of clarity? I have little doubt that we'll see the same thing on Juan Pablo's season unless something unusual happens that provides its own drama (as with Des' season).

After the other two overnight date Sean said I realized how much he was missing Catherine which means he was really not into these other two girls. I am also guilty of watching this date everyday, it really makes me happy to see so much love between the two of them.

The start of the date was off the chains with kiss, neck and shoulder kissing which mean I want you, forehead kissing showing her that he cares about her. Shoulder kissing an intimate gesture.

So all this talk about the elimination after the HTD makes me remember CH's asinine comments about Sean letting go of "the love of his life" and how he'll regret it. Just  Chris. Like really.

I almost wish we would another season where the lead doesn't propose. That's what would make the series more real. The way it is now its, ho hum another proposal and another breakup! Sean and Catherine excluded, of course. I'd love to see another lead pick his/her final one and tell them they wanted to take their relationship beyond the show but not propose yet. I wouldn't have a problem with it. Heck I didn't have a problem when Brad 1.0 picked no one.

I was hoping that's the route Des would have taken. I loved how Charlie's season played out with him dating both girls until the live ATFR where he decided. Or like you said, just picking someone and deciding to date. I'm still hoping that one season will end with both the F2 turning down the lead. That would make for great television.

Umm, totally. I mean, I know CH has to tow the company line, but that's a step beyond that.

Watching Episode 9 Thailand part 1, Catherine was soo excited to see Sean. The camera person enjoyed watching Cath jumping with excitement and says " she's cute" 0.24 awww!!

I really agree with you, Chris loved Des but not so much these days. You know God loves Sean so much that He made a way for him to run away from these crazy women.
