Brooks will always be in Des' heart and mind even though she is with Chris. I can say that because I am living it and it's been many many years and that man comes to my mind often.

You are so right! I know what you mean. The more I watched Des I could see that she was really in love with that guy, cause she can act now but that girl was in love with that man. I believe he loved her but not enough to propose right now.

After reading the transcripts for Drew and Brooks about being approached to be the next Bachelor and Drew had a photo shoot done for his intro vid that was cut out and how the show let Drew see the finale, but not Brooks... there are so many questions I have for Brooks and Drew!

 Atem, by not showing Brooks the Finale they probably wanted to see the shock on his face that Des' got engaged or if he changed his mind by wanting her back.  Instead Brooks gave them neither.

My heart went thud when Chris H said that Brooks hadn't seen the finale because of all the rumors about two proposals. My head didn't immediately process that filming was completed and they were live. I just couldn't bear to see that happen. It did seem that Chris H was fishing for Brooks to ask a question or make a statement about how things ended for her.

I am so glad that Brooks did not give them the reaction that they wanted.  I noticed Brooks was surprised but I will always wonder what he would have said if she choose no body because she loved only him.

I will always wonder, too. Hmm. Another question on my list. I'm glad he didn't give them they reaction they wanted, too. So glad. He won.

 That was the best moment of that night for me as a viewer.  They tried to shock him into some kind of a reaction or poorly chosen words.  His look gave away his surprise, but he kept his cool and made a classy compliment to the couple (whether true or not) and carried on.  Desiree had more of a reaction to his reaction with her own face and you could see her swallowing a huge lump in her throat.  I don't think his gentlemanly comment about her and Chris was what she had hoped for or expected.  Trying to turn the screws a little perhaps.  I also bet in that instance he was knew that all the concerns he had throughout were very valid and he was right on with his hesitance and mistrust of the show.  

I will never believe he didn't have strong feelings for her.  Too many small glimplses of them.  But obviously he was leery of committing to those feelings in a major way probably because of a mixture of doubts about Des herself, and the situation he was in.

I still really like Des overall, but that ending just left such a bad taste in my mouth, it's hard to feel about her like I used to.  She was in a no win situation.  And I get what lead to her choice.  I'm fine with her picking Chris and good luck to them. But the proposal was in such bad taste after the hour and a half preceeding it.  That may be more the show's fault than hers.  IDK.

I know people don't think that Brooks would of ever loved Des.  But I think after the show would be over and could spend more time together with out the worry of the other guys I think he would have fallen in love with her.  There were so many things he loved about her, his family loved her.  When he was talking to his mom and sister his face lit up when they started talking about Des.  I think he just needed more time.  He is not one to rush into something.  I know some people may think I am crazy but that is what I think.

I think he was listening to those songs for a reason whatever that may be.

See, that's another thing about so called reporters we have now. Why hasn't ANYONE in the freaking press noticed what I did about Brooks not seeing the finale, but Drew did?
