I think it's a little unfair to use the one photo of Des showing her ring as evidence that she's a gold digger and only about the ring. What about all the photos post show which show her cozying up to Chris? As for being a liar and fraud, those are pretty strong accusations. If Des is a liar and a fraud for changing her mind during a crazy dating show, then so is every other Bach/Bachette who make out and/or sleep with contestants and then get "engaged" to someone else...so is every contestant fighting to win who proclaim their love for the lead and then get engaged to someone back home not long after getting the boot...so is just about every other human who thought they were "in love" with a significant other and then managed to move on and get married to someone else.

I didn't say she was a golddigger. I said she wanted to get married in order to enjoy all of the trappings associated with it:

-an expensive ring
-a person who loves her unconditionally
-the media fanfare and celebrity spotlight
-not getting the producers ticked off/being barred from future opportunities for walking off the show
-having access to future opportunities in tv, film and other media

She made a rational, practically wise decision which is totally counter to her assertion that she bases her decisions on her "heart."

Her "heart" told her to leave. Her logical mind told her it was to her benefit financially to stay.

She's practically laughing in your faces right now with that photo.

I don't mind discussing it with you if you want to talk back and forth and not just yell at us. I gave my reasons and asked you to look at them. I think Des is too kind hearted to do what you are describing and every girl flashes her engagement ring. I see no post show evidence that she is ignoring Chris. Looks like a typical night out with friends to me.

I loved that the whole day was all about them versus her breaking up with someone at the FRC location, then getting a proposal from Chris.  The proposal was made extra special as there was no negative overshadowing of it.
