I could call it God's guiding...sometimes our own feelings can lead us to wrong direction...or cloud our sight. I think with Chris Des can really feel herself loved. as every woman should feel with their man :Smiley: so that woman can really feel herself a woman. and I can see that they love each other.

Sounds like sour grapes to me... too bad you believed the spoilers and missed the real love story. I might suggest that if you don't want to read happy positive comments about Chris & Des, that you avoid the their thread. It's just that simple! :Smiley:

I can't help you other than saying sometimes I can't either. It seems to help if the link is put on differently - which someone will usually post for us, if a lot of people are saying they can't see it. Maybe someone else can help with this?

After the finale part 1, I said that a proposal from either Chris or Brooks did not make sense to me. So I have been trying to make sense of it. She was not allowed to tell Chris that Drew was gone. Chris knew what was happening because of the poem in the journal saying it's not where we are now, but the direction we were going. Despite that he wanted an engagement. I don't believe 5 days was enough time for her to have an epiphany. I do believe she wanted to try with him in RL. TPTB gave her 2 choices, reject his proposal and tell him let's try outside of the show or accept the proposal. The first choice is not what Chris wanted, the 2nd choice made him happy. Not many guys would have reacted the way he did, but is was clear that he wanted to be engaged despite Brooks.

So, in a way, I see it as her taking a leap of faith based on his confidence and giving him what he wanted that day rather than making him sad with a rejection to his proposal. I do think she had an epiphany while watching it back, spending time with him, sleeping with him. Her favoriting that tweets about Brooks is gross, glad you didn't pick him.. was not so much that she thought he was gross, but that she's glad she didn't end up with NOW.

I don't think you can form an unbreakable bond with someone after 3 dates and a couple of group dates. What she is sharing with Chris is on a whole different level, so I don't think she is regretting not ending up with Brooks. I think she was still a little sad at the FRC, but not now. JMHO and it took me awhile to get there. Maybe I will even change my avi. I like the pic of Chris laughing in the People spread. :Smiley:

Hey Grace, nice write up, you may want to share with some of the Brooks fans that is if you are allowed to post in their fan thread. Maybe it wll allow them to get the closure some of them are seeking regarding all that took place :Smiley:

I agree with this.
I like to think she already knew even before he left. I just keep thinking about all the times they made sure to show as her saying how he was always there for her and he always had a way of letting her know.
The comments she made through out about Chris kept me wondering how Brooks was F1, But I was believing the spoiler. If we could see all that was left on the cutting room floor we would for sure understand how and why she picked Chris and I do not believe he was second choice.

One thing that is telling. When did she say what - was it a VO or an ITM? And...what was she wearing when she said it? For example, was she wearing totally different clothes than she is wearing in what she is referencing? If so, that shouts to me that is an after-the-season-played-out edit. Someone here (Mura?) mentioned how tan Chris looked like in one of his ITM's - the one where he said Brooks was so good, so charming. Start at the beginning. You see Brooks come back - Chris in an ITM in the clothes he's wearing on the date, then later in a purple T-shirt with a nice tan...(edited in after he proposed and the show season was "over"?) Methinks so... giggling

Why not? Don't we have about 495 (estimated) pages of Brooks drool? And the Brook drool continues on his fan page. Check it out if that's what you're looking for.
