So, I'm trying to move on and make sense of how this panned out, from a production standpoint. If we are to go back to old-fashioned sleuthing, I want to analyze and keep track of how this season was produced to help foil what was a supposed spoiled season. I made of list. Please feel free to add anything I have missed and I will add to a master list to use as a possible reference for the next season.




Warning Signs Brooks was not F1:

 

No FD & LCD SCs

SC of him and lead having an emotional talk

SC of him exiting in a limo in regular clothes

Seen with other contestants post-show

Cruise

First date

Hesitation in halfway through dating process

No airport sightings

Looked sad/disappointed during an interaction with a fan

Lead was more into contestant

No personalized music by recording artist

No F1 romantic sweeping overture music

Was not listed as a cast member for finale

Was not featured in blooper reel at MTA

Was not hidden in beginning of season preview

Was heavily featured in Stefano’s music/ season preview video along with Bryden (the two contestants who left the lead)

Lead stating in an interview “ I wanted someone who would stand by my side no matter what”

 

 

Warning Signs Chris was F1:

 

Several FD & LCD SCs

Personalized music by recording artist

F1 romantic sweeping overture music

Mysterious safe house pic posted a week before finale

Did not hang out with other contestants post-show

Instagram pics posted by producers of him and lead’s dates

Lead was tweeting poetry and rhymes

PI of lead emotionally saying she “Never felt so loved” in attire she wore on Chris’ LCD

 

 

Things that deterred us from Chris being F1 (excluding spoiler):

Chris’ overconfidence left in edit

SC of limo ride in suit looking emotional

Lead told CH she was in love with Brooks a few times

Cryptic poem

Strange HTD edit

Awkward moments left in edit (almost tipping the champagne bucket over)

F1 music (sometimes used to throw people off of F1 trail)

No airport sightings

Chris trailing behind Brooks until Brooks left

A big fat hint was on their first date when Brooks said that he'd take the chance of getting his heart broken and it just means it wasn't meant to be. That and a lack of caps. No cap, it doesn't happen.

I just became a person harping on the fact we had nothing while Chris S supporters did. It came off as shrill, but I just couldn't stand it anymore. It bothered me how people were swallowing the false claim.

gator~breathe in...breathe out. I know emotions are running high right now, but please don't let what someone else thinks or says effect you to the point where you respond with disrespect. The "Foe" button works wonders and that's what it's for. I understand you are frustrated and venting, but it's not worth the price. I don't want you to be banned from this site, but Love and San have to have a set of rules on how we treat each other or the bashing would be worse than a WWF wrestling match. It's been that way before and they had to shut down threads so no one could post in them.

Let's please not comment or respond to disrespectful posts. Just pass by them or Foe the people making them. I love you all and don't want anyone to get banned for responding to someone else's post.  :campfire:

I may vent in a PM to another poster, or leave a questionable smiley face, but I don't normally engage. it's just that some people just love to stand and stomp on that last nerve. but I had a decent sleep last night and am starting fresh today.

Don't sweat it lg. There are always going to be people in this forum who are simply not satisfied to gloat in the thread of their favorite when that person "wins". It makes them feel good to come to a thread where folks are sad about the outcome of the show, will miss their favorite, and are just trying to process the conclusion to the storyline they believed they were seeing. It's schadenfreude at its meanest imho.

I was there too. I kept hoping that all the Chris S. clues were an elaborate ploy to throw off the sleuthers from the truth of Brooks as F1 and kept hoping we'd get something solid to back up Brooks as F1 but there was absolutely nada. But I kept hanging on to the spoilers. I figured what were the odds that RS and 5 plus sleuthers were wrong?

I'm still not sure why she included the steamy hot tub session with Brooks in her blog when now we know she didn't choose him, nor was it even shown, so why?  Was it something that she wanted to point out to Brooks only?? Like, hey, remember when?
