So the National Inquiror has an article quoting Brooks' last girlfriend who is a different girl than RS posted pics of. Anyway - she is stunning.

First time to post here.  I like Brooks.  His was honest and genuine about how he felt.  I believed if he found love it may or may not be in a controlled environment, he wont have a hard time articulating how he feel. Honestly he was kind enough not to articulate it out coz the mere idea of breaking up with somebody already hurt. Articulating and honestly saying it loud "I'm not into you ...cant you see it?" is brutal.  He is a gentleman up to the end. He is probably ecstatic right now that the season is over.  He came for a right reason on the show but it hurts to find out that he didn't find love at the end.  Wish him well on his future lovelife coz he keep it real. He is far from wishy washy as CH described him.  Desiree is. I don't want to explain it in detail. This is not the avenue to express it. Thank you for the space.

I noticed the way Desiree looked when Brooks said he probably had regrets, too. She seemed hurt by that. Immediately after that she said she had no regrets. And I too noticed how she looked when he said he saw the looks she gave Chris. I couldn't read what she was thinking, but she wasn't happy.

She did go out of her way to touch him. She was giggly. She had google-eyes and had to check herself a couple times.

Meanwhile, in Brooks' corner, he is cool as a cucumber and driving in the dagger.

Kash, totally agree with those observations! When Brooks told her he noticed the way she looked at Chris, I felt like she wanted to break down in that moment and tell him how could he not see it was him she always kept looking for. So sad. I wonder if any part of Brooks hoped she was still single so they could continue something off the show or if he had completely checked out.

I wondered that with Brooks, too, but he seems pretty good with what happened.

I agree with you. Desiree is the wishy-washy one. Now all I can say is thank goodness Brooks stayed away so no one could accuse him of that.

I meant to post a reply and I started a new topic, hope they can clean that up.

Anyway, what I posted was that it looked like he was trying to see if she had a ring just before he sat down on AFTR, and she spent most of the time he was there looking like she was trying to hide it.

It sure did look like she was trying to hide it and I do think is was kinda shocked when she said she was engaged to Chris.

I thought so too... I believe if she had gone solo, and said to Brooks after the AFTR, can we go get something to eat, he would have gone. in real life these two might have been something else.

Still a little behind but OH YES LG! I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS STATEMEMENT!!

That being said, I do think Des has found a home in Chris so that ship has sailed!

Reading it right now online, but don't see a picture, so googled name and model and if she's the brunette, she is gorgeous.

Hunky Brooks Forester is nursing a secret heartbreak – and that’s the real reason he had second thoughts about “The Bachelorette” Desiree Hartsock!

A source tells The ENQUIRER that Forester was left devastated when the love of his life cheated on him, and he grew terrified that Desiree would do the same thing.

Viewers were shocked by his dra­matic decision to walk out before the show’s finale.

“I broke Brooks’ heart and he’s never forgiven me,” his former sweet­heart, 28-year-old model Erin Reese, told The ENQUIRER. “I dated him for nearly two years, and about 18 months ago we called it quits.”

But an insider close to Forester claims there’s more to the story.

“Brooks loved Erin very much,” said a family insider. “They were talk­ing seriously about getting married, but then he found out that Erin was cheating on him. Brooks broke up with her and never looked back.”

And when Forester, a 28-year-old sales and marketing rep, saw Desiree canoodling with his rivals on “The Bachelorette,” he couldn’t take it, said the source.

“When Brooks watched all the other guys falling over Desiree, and saw her kissing two or three of them a day, it tore open the wound in his heart from Erin,” said the insider.

“The memories of Erin cheating came flooding back, and he couldn’t handle any more betrayal.”

Looking back, Erin says losing Forester broke her heart too.

I loved Brooks, and even though, I tried to make up with him, he refused to take me back,” she told The ENQUIRER. “When I realized that he would never forgive me, I moved out of the state to get over him.”

Forester had been tabbed as “the one” for Desiree, 27, for several weeks.

But a source says he flipped out after seeing her interact with Chris Siegfried, a 27-year-old Oregon mortgage broker (the ultimate winner), and Drew Kenney, 27, a digital marketing analyst from Arizona, while “The Bachelorette” filmed in Antigua.

“From his hotel balcony, Brooks could see Desiree in a hot tub, kiss­ing a guy and drinking champagne,” said the family insider. “Then the next morning, she was rolling around on the beach in a tiny bikini, and ended up sitting on top of another guy!

“Brooks knew what he was signing up for with ‘The Bachelorette.’ But at the same time, when he saw Desiree kissing other guys week after week, it was disgusting to him.

“Even if he gets sucked back into being with Desiree, I don’t see their relationship going the distance.”

Forester’s former flame agrees.

“Brooks is very serious about his rela­tionships,” Erin told The ENQUIRER. “I was surprised to hear he was go­ing on ‘The Bachelorette,’ because a person can’t fall in love in a matter of weeks, especially not Brooks.

“I’m sure Desiree is a nice girl, but knowing Brooks, I’m not surprised he walked away.”

The story is pretty ridiculous as if he could see from his balcony all these different dates. Silly.

He did say he broke up with his last girlfriend because of a disagreement in what's appropriate in a relationship.

Molly could see Jason proposing from her hotel room. I think they do that on purpose.

I can see that bugging him.

Makes you wonder what he would've done if Desiree had still been single. Makes you wonder, too, if he said that he saw the way Desiree was looking at Chris as a sort of dig at Desiree. Followed by unfollowing her on Twitter after. Maybe if she hadn't settled on Chris Brooks might've reconsidered dating her again. You never know. But if I were Desiree and I even heard a hint of that, even if it's totally rumor, I would regret my decision to settle on Mr. Second Best always. And regret sitting on top of another guy. You know she laid on Chris.

I'm with Brooks in being disgusted by how the leads act on this show when they're supposedly in love with another. Brooks, obviously, takes relationships very seriously.

I still half-wish he would've accepted being the Bachelor, just for selfish reasons. I want to see more of him.
