Chris Siegfried -Bachelorette Contestant - Spoilers - Discussion

Michael G's interview kinda points towards it not being Brooks in the end and possibly Chris S. Michael and Brooks are good friends now so I think Michael might have a clue. I think Michael says Des makes the best match with Chris S. He does describe there was a lot of chemistry with Brooks and Des but then he goes on to say how Des would look at Brooks and how Des would react to Brooks but not the other way around...he would never say Brooks was into Des. just seemed kinda telling to me. i know this doesn't say anything for sure but it's just another little clue that supports a Des/Chris ending.

If Chris proposes and is rejected, I think the only reason for them to throw Des under the bus like that would be to build sympathy and interest in Chris as the next bachelor, just like they did with Ben. Though, when they put Chris through that they could not have known that decision, so it seems like a terrible thing to do to him given her remarks about Brooks last week. Just back the truck up and drive over him again! Chris with a proposal after last week only makes sense if he is the F1 or the bachelor IMO.

Not only that, but THREE of those Chris instagrams were uploaded the same day... right after the Madeira episode.

I do think Peter's above is way too obvious of  "F1 picture". Add to the fact that none of these feature Des with Brooks or Drew unless in a group situation. It is as if she AND the show has "closure" on them.

Our Sunday afternoon memory lane of “Ouch Moments” that Drew and Brooks… and all of the others… whether they are now “engaged” to Desiree or not… had to suffer through this season…

The I just wanna give him the world was the VO they played when she was in the FS with Drew.  Whether it was put there to mislead us or if it really belonged there only TPTB knows for sure at this point.  I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow night to find out for ourselves.  I will give TPTB credit for really creating a lot of deception this season.  They have definitely put a lot of question marks on the spoilers this season.

"I just want to give him the world." - start at 2:42 for how that plays out. (I don't remember her yet saying He loves like no one I've ever known. My guess is that statement is also about Drew.) I'm posting this YouTube video in Chrisville, obviously, but it is to show that she loves Drew for who he is and how he treats her. His love and care for her presents a polar opposite of how she has viewed herself treated in relationships. I don't think it hurts that he is so good looking - that's icing on the cake. (But, as I posted earlier - post show in an interview - she is saying that Chris had the hottest body, that she was the most attracted to his.) I don't believe she is in love with Drew (though overwhelmed with him - Girlfriend has definitely got him up on a pedestal - I hope he doesn't come crashing down), but of course we won't know that until Monday.

She may have Chris up on one, too. Both of these men are offering her something she literally has had to pull out of Brooks - and says she has never had before. I believe that with both seasons we've got to know Des' personality to a point. She shows a lot of confidence outwardly and is outwardly independent, but we've seen her react so strongly to Brook's seeming rejection. She could use anger and indifference when hurt by Bryden (you could sense the hurt, see the sheen of tears and it was a contrast to her statement that she hoped the men she really wanted didn't do this to her down the line - Chris represented safety and security then, I believe, and a way to put that out of her mind) and then James (first reaction, anger, but she was obviously entranced with Drew at the moment and that helped), but this particular rejection (whether permanent or temporary) seemingly made her walls crumble and her sense of being insecure show up. She half-heartedly asked him "why now?" (and that was the most poignant moment in the show for me when he replied, "Because I didn't know".)

I think we all realize by now that none of this is "true, committed love" at this point, but serious crushes on the part of all concerned. None of them are having a normal relationship, just lots of overwhelming feelings. Chris seems to be "looking outside the bubble" and focusing on how compatible they are, with an eye to a future with her - and is clearly smitten with the person she is. Drew is so "in love" that I'm not sure he is thinking really clearly about the reality after the show, but I could be wrong. Brooks is definitely looking outside the bubble, but I think being drawn back into it. All this is just my opinion...whiling away the day in Chrisville after going to church today and waiting to see what happens Monday night at 7 p.m. CST and beyond.

Unreal that they would announce it so soon when they usually do just when DWTS starts. Also they had said that Juan Pablo was a strong contender since they wanted to break into new markets...if it turns out be Chris, our RL's will be ruined ladies!!!!!
