Chris Siegfried -Bachelorette Contestant - Spoilers - Discussion

I thought it turned out to be Zak - I don't think Dan ever got a kiss at least not according the kissing board on ABC Bachelorette site.

OK... thanks Brittany. I didn't even remember him getting a kiss. Thanks for filling me in on mura too. I was missing her eternal optimism around here.

That 'leaderboard' only counts kisses shown on tv and that kiss wasn't shown on tv.

Maybe not but I believe that kiss is from Zak's 1-on-1 date. I don't remember her ever showing any interest in Dan let alone kissing him although she did kiss enough of the guys.

Hello, everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting much these past 2 days. I have house guests that won't be leaving until Monday morning. Thank god they'll be gone by the time the finale rolls around by evening. Isn't it a pain when real life interferes with our obsession?

I haven't had time to read through the threads, can anyone give me a Coles notes version of what happened today, if any? And what's the latest consensus....Chris might still be F1 or is it looking more like Chris could be the next Bachelor?  Anyone, please ...... 

I've been looking for a smoking gun if it is Chris. I Googled Des' video interviews and found her wearing a Stella and Dot pendant she wore on his hometown. I found the pendant first on a Hometown video and went looking online to see if she was wearing it outside of the show. I stumbled on a website that identified that piece of jewelry as being on Chris' Oregon hometown. The website said it was her favorite piece of the jewelry line. She is also wearing it on a day of interviews with Popsugar and Ryan Seacrest and at both she is wearing the exact same outfit she wore on her second one on one with Chris. She also wore the pendant on the Katie Couric show with a red dress. I checked. She didn't wear it with Drew or Brooks on their dates. If you've been following me, I noted she wore red on several important occasions with Chris, just a theory that she did it because he mentioned the color red in his second poem to her (the first poem was in Atlantic City in a hot tub). What I find interesting is that on the second one on one date she wore a different necklace with the outfit. It looks like a cross. But outside of the show she is wearing the pendant with it that she wore on his hometown. Why the switch? And does any of this really mean anything?

Monday is a long way away, and I am free to sleuth or fantasize until then, right?



Now that I got that out of my system, I want to say something else. In re-watching the episodes thus far I've noticed something that maybe I didn't want to see. I do like Chris for Des. But girlfriend seems to be swept up by Drew in that wall kiss to the point she's saying "she's there" and "she's his", later she wants to never leave his home, even later at FD she wants "to give him the world", all seemingly because of the way he makes her feel, especially when he kisses her. The only spontaneity I've seen with him is him dragging her out to that wall, trying to outrun the cameras. And with Brooks, she is begging for him to express feelings he clearly isn't ready to, though he's more than ready to give her the affection she seems to crave. I do think that being with someone like Chris would stabilize her, get her head out of the clouds, emotions where they need to be at the right time. I don't know if he's really spontaneous either, which seems to be her mantra in who she wants. All I have seen is that she is so ready, so open. She's already headed for and taken several "falls" because of being swept away by feelings to the point she starts seeing a future with that person and then in her words in the promo "everything comes crashing down". Is that all that Monday's going to be? More dumpster fires? for everybody concerned?

I hope she took stock and took a page from Ashley, who thought it out and decided what she needed and wanted in a future husband was not a carbon copy of herself, but someone who would balance her as well as love her and share her future. I also hope she doesn't rush into marriage right away, but gives herself time to get out of the bubble. I'd like that also for Chris, if he should turn out to be F1. Yes, it's a reality show. But...these are real people - no matter how caricatured they are by the producers. Somehow I've become temporarily (I hope) invested in their story. And I'm a real person who needs to take a break from this. Sayonara, Chrisville. I'll catch you after Monday.

I guess I didn't read CH's blog about Sean and Catherine...but if what you guys say is true then I guess we can't go by his blogs for any clues but I have in the past and his blogs have helped me gain insight into the ending.

If Brooks is F1 then I sorry but Des is doomed and has gone back to her old ways of dating guys who are gonna break her heart. A part of me has confidence in her though...I think there's still a chance she'll make the right decision.

I must say, you guys here in Chrisville, really do put together some compelling arguments on him being F1.

I'm pretty sure that was sleuthed to be a kiss on a rc night and Dan was the one wearing that suit! I remember every one thinking the same thing about being shocked he got a kiss when we barely saw them interact.

I don't think after what we saw in the first part of the finale, any of the three are the 'obvious' choice.
