thanks bm.. another thing is that if she is going to reject Chris after giving it another try with him and him carrying on despite what has happened, would she really let him propose? That's how she thanks him for being the one that never wavered? be humiliating him? Just seems like she would be strong enough to tell TPTB that she will not do that to him. There would be/will be a huge backlash against her for doing that to him.

grace... no where has it said that anyone proposes to Des that I know of, although there has been talk of rings.  I don't believe that Des would do that to anyone.  

I see Chris as the one who, when he learns of what went down with her and Brooks, would say, no I will stay and stand by you no matter what. actually both Chris and Drew would do that. Chris is going into this final rose with his eyes wide open... of all the bachelors in the house, he was shown to be the one most aware of Brooks and Des' relationship.  I thought it was just because it was F1 vs F2, but now I believe it was shown to make us understand that Chris is willing to be there regardless if she loves him like she loves Brooks or not.  he is willing to wait for her to wake up, and he will be there come hell or high water.

personally, I admire him for that, but I don't want him to be a door mat for anyone.  Des loves Chris, but it is not the same love she has for Brooks, and in the end that is all that matters.  

sorry to get so windy to say, I don't think Chris will get on one knee and propose.

But they show him in the limo.. I would have rather she did in on the LCD like Ali did with Chris L.

Exactly! If Chris proposes and she rejects him for Brooks, it would be cruelest treatment of F2 in history of this show. I will throw tomatoes at tv! Seriously. That is why I believe TPTB must do something Xtra special for Chris if he doesn't get Des in the end. He is truly one of the most universally liked guys since Chris Lambton. But, Roberto was a sweet MAN and well deserved F1 so much different scenario.

That's pure speculation on my part but ever since he changed his twitter picture to his ABC pic, I've been wondering b/c that's what they used for Des until she had her professional promo pics taken. Add to that the fact that we know he was seen in Seattle with Elan, handing out roses to women and being filmed and I think he's accepted the gig...

not who you asked, but I believe he will... he has seen that it can work, he fell in love, Des fell in love and Brooks fell in love.  so maybe there is that special girl for him.  I think that Chris was totally sincere and there for all, ALL, the right reasons... it just so happens that the girls he fell for fell for another.

100% agree with you grace...I have been saying that since the first spoilers came out and to this day I'm still hoping that she stops Chris from proposing. Eversince her declarations of love for Brooks and after what happened on Monday night, I have said I really don't want Chris to be F1 coz he deserves so much better. And now, with this spoiler from Kasha in the F1 thread, I am totally relieved. Now all I am hoping for is she allows Chris to leave with dignity. Otherwise, I would lose all respect for Des.

grace, she has an obligation.  I have no idea of when Brooks comes back, if it is at the beginning of the episode, the middle or the end. there will be a FRC regardless as dictated by tptb. every season they normally have 2 at the frc, although there have been instances of 1 only there and of 3 being there.

I can confirm - I heard the same thing.  

Sad for Chris but at least we know his filming was a promo for his Bachelor stint, as confirmed by his changing his twitter pic to his ABC pic, which will be used until he gets into a studio and starts taking shots for his season.

At least we're all prepared for Monday night...

This is actually great news. Chris deserves Bachelor! I have long preferred him for Bachelor vs. Des F1. Thanks for heads up.

I hope he is the next lead but I hope that he can find the one for him and it not end in a train wreck like this season. I am not going to lie. The way this has ended is disgusting.

2. He really did love her and saying that he didn't was an act for drama and Des is a good actress too with the reaction.
 
I think the first one is more likely. Sorry to be negative right now. I am just glad that she doesn't choose Chris and wish she would have let him go immediately.

I don't see this going down well for Des. Brooks said too much to overcome in 5 days. It will take people awhile of seeing them happy to forget all the stuff he said.
