I just rewatched the season preview which tells the "story" in some way. In it Brooks says " it's those moments that kind of take your breath away that make you stop and refocus and see what's important." (or something close to that). That statement coupled with his brother's answer to his question about how do you know you're in love, makes me think that the "story" of the finale will be all about Brooks having that moment, refocusing and realizing that he really does love Des. actually Des could actually have moment too where she will realize that it isn't about "getting engaged" at the end of the show but about love and that she will give up the fairytale ending because her heart is truly with Brooks, even though his may not be with hers. She'll reject both Chris and Drew but then of course he'll enter back in and she will have her fairytale ending.

This was RS' response to someone asking why he went from 1 billion percent sure to something else...

Didn't I follow up "I could be wrong" with essentially "but I'm not." I thought I did.

Whether I say I'm a billion % sure every time, or some of the time, or a 1/4 of the time, it doesn't matter. The spoiler hasn't changed. If people are gauging the percentage amount of my confidence, and because I don't say 1 billion every time they think I'm less confident, 1) they really need to find something better to do with their time and 2) just accept that I have not wavered from when I first posted. I was told it was brooks, I've seen things which corroborate that, and I've got nothing to believe its not him.

It's Brooks. There will be naysayers every season no matter what I do. Comes w the territory. They just continue to sound foolish the more I'm right

While there's a part of me that wishes Chris was the last guy standing, I think it's Brooks. And here's why: Desiree saying to CH, "I just want to go home" during tonight's episode after Brooks has left.

If she had strong feelings for Chris, she would not have said that. JMO

RS has seen things which is different than hearing. Makes me think he's seen some pics or something. Very interesting indeed.

I would think the the F3 RC would have happened on the day after Brooks leaves since he was supposedly the last FD.

I've never favored any of the final three -- they are all fine in their own ways. I have been a Desiree supporter since last season and I will be honest that if she ends up engaged to Brooks after all of his shenanigans, I will think less of her judgment. A choice to settle for a guy who isn't sure that he loves you until the very last minute...and then you quickly accept his proposal before he changes his mind...is nothing less than pathetic for womankind. We no longer live in the 1950's where whatever the man says, goes. Yes, I call that pathetic.

And she will be the decision maker, bread winner, and emotion cajoler as long as they remain together. So sad.
