I don't discount any of the 3 at this point. Though I would call her a spineless Jelly fish if it turns out that he dumps her and she goes back to him.
Sorry but that is how I see it. Love or no love. And it increasingly looks like he had to think long and hard with the assistance of his family and then go to CH with the news that he wanted out. He knew it - it wasn't just a misunderstanding. Which is in a way a good thing why lead her on more. BUT if she goes back to him no no

Considering that Bres is the storyline since the second episode and that it is too obvious as an ending for TPTB editing, even with the drama about proposing or not I would say that the more "out of the left field" ending would Chris or Drew.

So, it's ok for her to pick a default, but not give Brooks the chance to fight for her? I don't get it the difference.

Everyone will see that the guy is a default, if it's not Brooks.

See, I don't see it that way.
Once we get the FRC is over--then the real journey begins. REAL LIFE. Think of the couples that made it. They made it because they had to work at in real life. The odds are against it, but what helps is when the guy really loves/likes the gal. The guy needs to be 100% fully invested.
I know this is only my opinion, but I feel the woman does want to feel like the man loves her a little bit more than she loves him. No woman wants to have that little insecure itch that just maybe he is not as into her as she is to him. What woman wants to feel a man isn't there 100% for her, that his mom and sister have to encourage him? Please...

A good thing ? Not in Des' book if that pier scene is to go by. That cannot be spun in some glorified "ride off into the sunset" type scene you guys are constantly posting about. Not that one.

Thank you! Every time I see a post stating that Chris or Drew would be a default choice, it drives me nuts. We already know that she definitely has strong feelings for Chris, and who knows if they are or are not continually growing? And who knows what all she's really saying about Drew? Just because they have shown us little commentary about him doesn't mean she isn't gushing about him too. If Des does end up with Brooks in the end, I hope he's realized he's gaga over her. I'm only seeing strong attraction and that he enjoys her company so far, though. He's not crazy about her like Ryan was with Trista, like JP was with Ashley.

totally agree about your thoughts on the 'default.' I mean, as long as Des doesn't see her choice as a 'default' why should I? If she's in love and happy then whatever crazy journey took her to her F1, they were meant to be.

I certainly don't see Chris or Drew being a default choice. I see her realizing that one of them is really the guy for her. I see her realizing that what she thought she wanted is not what she really needs.

The reason people are seeing Chris and Drew as a default is simple...it's what we are being fed from TPTB.

When you have the lead boldly stating multiple times starting the episode before HTD's that they love one person and then they don't choose that person, that's called a default.

Are we supposed to believe that since something happens with Brooks she can unlove him and fall head over heals with one of the other guys in a week? Because they didn't have much more time than that left in the filming schedule at this point. I know she can care for and love more than one man, but it's not the same!
