Mike F about the ending to Wet Paint.

Mike says that not only are the guys this season "always crying," but the finale is gonna pack a wallop. From what we saw on Season 9 Overnight Dates on July 29, he wasn't kidding. But does it get even crazier? Apparently. “All I can say is you will be shocked by how this ends.” Hmm, we’ve heard that before. Oh, someone proposes? Two people propose? The lead gives a girl a PLANE TICKET instead of a ring? Been there, seen that. But the producer swears that this time it’s different.

“It doesn’t make sense in some ways,” he says of the outcome. “It comes out of left field in other ways. But it’s the weirdest ending we’ve ever had, that’s for sure. I don’t know that Desiree is happy with it, or the guys are happy with it, but it sure is interesting to watch.” Um, cool? Entertainment value is something we value highly, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't really worried about Desiree

They were worried about her because she was freaking out over Brooks leaving. It will come out of left field, because most normal viewers do not think he returns.

The fact that he wasn't at the MTA is huge. If I was unspoiled, that would clue me in to a possible return after viewing part 1, which would not be shocking and out of left field.

A lot of viewers expect almost anything from the show. If Des hadn't been so devastated and saying now in the previews that she can't see it with the other guys so how would it be a surprise. They may think she's left alone but I doubt it will too shocking that Brooks comes back.

If you were unspoiled you wouldn't know he left. Menu would you expect to see him at the MTA?

The MTA was what, 2 weeks ago? I definitely watched last week's episode (finale part 1), so yes, I can absolutely go into this unspoiled thinking yes of course he returns. If he didn't, they would have had him on the MTA and it would have been business as usual.

I also want to add that I have an unspoiled friend that watches this and we discuss it but I give nothing away. Her first comment to me about last week's episode was that she thinks he returns (as in he's back in the game not that he literally left the Island). So this just proves that you can be unspoiled and Brooks' return not be a surprise or out of left field.

actually people are always returning so I think even normal viewers won't be that surprised
