Personally, I don't see much difference. CH saying they are not on the same page means they aren't on the same page.
And I guess I see things differently than many viewers. An engagement on this show in no way, shape or form means an engagement to me as I see it in the real world. It's simply a "bach engagement". A step above maybe a ring on a string, but not much.

So maybe Brooks doesn't want his first proposal to be on the Bachelorette if he doesn't mean it. Can't fault him for that.

The only thing I fault him for is the shortsightedness of being on the show if that's how he feels. Don't go on a show where this is the premise.

CH: "She obviously would have picked him." (Discussing Brooks)
Between his blog and GMA, CH seems to have not only closed that door but padlocked it. How in the world do we get from this to the spoiler in one episode?
I really want a dumpster fire emoticon. :bigsigh:
Forgive me, but count me skeptical of believing the boy that cried wolf about...well...anything. TPTB know the spoiler is out there and are try to spice up the intrigue/mystery of did he come back or not. Bah. Boring season...clear ending to me. I feel pretty bad for Des, Chris, and Drew.
Oh ITA. I just don't get how we get there and back again in two hours and still with two other guys, MTPs, and LCDs.
I also noticed Des' blog said stayed tuned next week to see what happens with Brooks. Uh, didn't we see that already? Yeah, they're messing with us, I'm just at a loss for how we get to the supposed end at this point.

So simple and true. I love what Jillian says. Wise words:
"Broken hearts are awesome. Well, not really, and especially not at the time, but speaking from experience in circumstances like last night’s episode of The Bachelorette, a broken heart is just about the best thing that can happen to someone. Am I crazy? Maybe a little, but here is the thing: True love (true, true love) is a two-way street. Sometimes our hearts get so infatuated with someone or something that we don’t even care if it’s reciprocated. We just want that person, and what’s even more deranged is that the more they don’t want us, the more we want them. Our heart is sometimes a confused little brat.
"Even though my heart hurt for Dez last night (I almost couldn’t watch until the end!), I KNEW that even though she was SO devastated, she would heal, come out of this stronger, and find her TRUE love. Furthermore, I think Brooks was so courageous to do what he did. I can think of a certain someone who should have done the same thing. Sometimes it’s easier to just go along for the ride and try to protect someone’s feelings. You think to yourself: “Oh, this person is such a good person and I SHOULD be in love with them, so maybe if I keep on trying it will happen.” That’s called leading someone on, folks. Brooks could have gone along with the ride, gotten engaged, rode the roller coaster, and wasted two years of Dez’s life. But what he did was so brave and 100 percent the right thing for Dez.
"Thinking back on my breakup, I was so angry and sad at first, but now, I totally get it. He did what HE wanted to do. And as selfish as that seemed at the time, you have to ask yourself, “why would someone do anything else?” There’s a sting in the phrase “you can’t make someone love you” for sure, but there’s also a hidden message that you need to wipe your tears, go for a furious run (or shopping spree in my case!), and start over again. There’s something refreshing in that.
"So my thoughts on last night: I’m so sorry for Desiree’s heartbreak, but if Brooks IS the one, he will come back, and if he’s not, she will find her prince charming. It’s that plain and simple. Now, let’s see what surprises are in store for us next week…"

Sorry Latergator but I don't think that's a frankenbyte there. I see her mouthing the word "I just want to go home....to be honest".
She may have also said it in Spain after James' mess, but I think she said it in Antigua as well.
