If chris becomes f1, I swear to god there will be a lot of bashing against him and des.

Which I really don't want to see.

why would bashing him?..he is doing nothing wrong, except being an adorable and awesome gentleman!!..

Gee ... I thought their date was great! Yes, it was a bit strange to see the dad perform the nasal cleaning but I thought that everything else was sweet & fun. I loved the book she made for him and they were both really connecting on the baseball field. She loves that he's an athlete and she really seems into him. His time with his mother was precious and my favorite scene too was that he was so happy to find out Des was Bachelorette. He is so SWEET!

Chris and his family are awesome so not sure why they'd get any bashing ... they sure don't deserve it!

This season confuse me to no end and driving me nuts!!.. 
OK. so this is my final thought on how the last episodes will be pans out :

A, If Des sends Brooks away early (perhaps after her "successful" FD date with Chris?..aheeeemm!!  ), i guess that would be okay for Chris to slide into F1. and it will prove that actually he is the one that Des wanted all along, as in her poem. so..the "was in love with Brooks" thing is only a cover up of what was really happening from the start.

B. But if Brooks leaves on his own, Chris is going to look like her default F1 and even if Des choose him in the end, people will bash him and counting down the minutes before they break up. Des doesnt deserve Chris in this case!!..

therefore, i am hoping, rather than option B, id rather see Brooks come back and prove the spoilers are correct. and let the nice-sincere-well deserved women all of America have Chris!!

Just finished watching the episode. After reading on here there seems to be a "huge" uproar about Chris' hometown date, and in particluar around his dad. Yes, the producers probably orchestrated the whole thing, but I still really like Chris' family. They are obviously protective over Chris (rightfully so) and very into health and fitness. His relationships with both his mum and dad seems to be strong and loving.

Also, love how playful Chris was when they were playing baseball..!

I am so glad that we have seen some fanphotos of Chris where he is looking happy because I am truly dreading the FRC..!!

Yup ... this is what I think too! If NYMERIA is correct and Brooks leaves on his own accord/comes back/interrupts Chris/Des FRC, yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's beyond horrible especially if Des picks Brooks in the end after sharing some very special time with Chris (and he may know at this point that Brooks is gone).

I have said this in other threads but will say it again as it really freaked me out! Hearing Des say plain as day and with much conviction that she wants Brooks to propose to her at the end just left me speechless and a bit sick to my stomach for Chris (and Drew!). It was just like when Ben skinny dipped with Courtney. How can it be anyone else but Brooks in the end? And, if Chris was picked, how would she explain herself to him?

I also wonder if Des knew that her words about Brooks would be put on the air for her F3 guys and their families to hear? Why did TPTB waste Chris/Drew's time if Des was so certain she was in love with Brooks and wanted him to propose at the end (esp when the end is so friggin close at this point)?!  And, I am NOT naïve. I know that most contestants have a fairly good idea at this point who will be their F1. But to hear the lead say it out loud is a whole other thing. And, I like Brooks. I really do. I just hate to see Chris (and Drew!) get hurt and think that he is  going to be the one and then have that ripped away from him.

I really hope that this is NOT as messy as the previews made it look.

i just wanna appreciate the sweetest moment of Chris and his mom, and the moment when his mom telling Des about the story of him so want the Bachette to be Des, with her sincerity and teary eyes. It gives me the vibe of "meant to be" ..that has been brought up many times in their poem. :pinkaw: 
His mom reminds me so much of JP's mom, who described by Ashley as "the sweetest person you'll ever met", yet protective and rational as well. She raised her son so well. even Des had addressed that. A gift to the world!!...:eyesigh: 
If Des didnt end up with him, such a waste of memorable moments, a once in a life time chance.

I totally agree! We know that the lead usually has a good idea who will be F1, but showing these repeated "declarations of love" by Des for Brooks is just emphasizing how very much she is playing the other three and their families. I'd hate to be the mother of any of those three watching the show last night. Yes, I know, it's just a show and they signed up for it. Hopefully they will be able to just laugh it off and move on.

I said essentially the same thing earlier. If she was so 100% sure that it was Brooks and Brooks alone - she should have not continued with the other men. She played them far more than other leads who have to take 2 to the finish line with them. I too realise that at least 3 guys get hurt every season but Des has been sure for quite a while now. When he left she should have called it a day instead of continuing to lead the guys on but kissing them and rolling around in the sand with them. It makes her look foolish. And more so if the spoiler pans out and she take back a guy who is so undecided about you.
