SOMETHING unusual happened at FRC involving all three finalists that prompted one early spoiler say Drew is F1 and three say Brooks is F1. (Lost count how many spoilers we have.) Yet Chris is the one getting the "classic" Final One Edit. Is this a Melissa/Molly situation? Don't know.

Also the voice-overs are weirder this season than past ones.

There was some interesting dialogue in Munich (episode #5), during Ben/Mike's 2 on 1 date, involving Kasey, Drew, Brooks and Chris. Both Drew and Brooks were highlighted over the "not here for the right reasons" talk (covering James) and Chris got Drew's FULL "I don’t want her to lose faith in the good guys who are here" line as if if he was the "good guy" in the room. Granted, we've never seen anything "bad" with Kasey, Drew or Brooks... but that line pretty much rules them out of the running as future "Mister Hartsock". When Brooks says "It’s the very first time that I had the thought that at the end of this, there could be zero guys", the camera keeps panning back and forth between Brooks and Drew as if they are the "zero guys" at the end of this... whatever that means.

You can't make assumptions over lines this vague, but when you check other scenes, patterns do emerge.

All of this funny business continued through episode #6, with Chris being the ONLY one saying he is "100% NOT thinking about becoming the Bachelor ever". After James left the guys group, Drew gave the most bizarre speech in this franchise's history:

I just don’t get it. (Drew shown talking)
I don’t get why she hasn’t slapped him and say ‘How dare you, you’re a pig. You’re an a**h***. You disgust me. You need to go home.’ (only Drew shown as he speaks)
What does she see in him… (Brooks and Mike shown as Drew gets up)
… that the rest of us don’t? He said it himself (fleeting shot of Brooks and Mike)
… a win win would be Des and Bachelor (Chris and Zak shown just as Drew leaves over the words “win win”).
It just doesn’t make any sense… to to… a normal person (Drew shown talking)

Since the words "win win" are spoken over Chris and Zak, some of us figured that meant one guy gets the girl and the other the lead... and Drew gets neither.

You gotta hand it to Fleiss. The spoilers must be "right" in some way... Drew and Brooks were seen at FRC time. Brooks was probably seen there after Drew left. Yet the way Desiree acts in interviews and the way they are editing her relationship with Chris, it is tempting to think she is sneaking trips to Seattle while everybody is focused elsewhere.

But I am not going to debate any of this and be involved in any silly civil wars. The TV show reads Chris as F1 and the spoilers read Brooks as F1.

Mike Fleiss: "It doesn’t make sense in some ways. It comes 'out of left field' (i.e. baseball reference) in other ways. But it’s the weirdest ending we’ve ever had, that’s for sure. I don’t know that Desiree is happy with it (i.e. somebody got angry at her... I'm guessing), or the guys are happy with it, but it sure is interesting to watch."

Impressive! I am glad to see the photos of Chris :)

I couldn't care less about the negative feedback he got last episode. Checked the abc boards and checked here and there is STILL plenty of Chris fans and they all adore Chris (count me in as well! :D )

Also, I know this is late but I understand why many of you guys want him to be the bachelor and I think he would make a GREAT one. Plus he already has plenty of fans. But I think the show will just ruin him. Hence, as much as I would love to see him for 12 more weeks, it is better off having him untouched by the The Bachelor franchise and finding his own love in another way.

HTD's - Can't wait to meet Chris' family! I kind of laughed when I saw that it was Chris's dad tucking in Des' shirt.
