But, we have enough sc to support Christ to be f2....maybe Brook did check himself out before/during his FD, and it was Drew, in his loving and tender way to help her mend her broken heart and she realized that's what she needed: someone who will protect her, love her unconditionally, and treasure her forever. So Chris left at f2. Brooks returned before/during FRC and Des told him, sorry, too little too late. Drew is her F1 now. So, that will fit "guys leaving and returning", "weird twists", "coming out of left field".
That's my speculation and I reserve the right to change my mind anytime.

Those are Brooks' words.

Coming out of left field and it doesn't make sense in some ways is about how they felt when witnessing Brooks and Des go from what we saw on their HTD to their meltdown in Antigua. It doesn't have to mean who she picks is out of left field.

Brooks will leave and return.

I agree with you : if we didn't get the spoilers, the logical F1 would be Drew.

Why? Just because Brooks and Des have a meltdown? If Brooks is there at the end, like this magazine suggests, it's logical Brooks could be F1, too. :Smiley:

It's hard to reconcile with the spoilers... so yes, he could be F1. But taking the spoiler out of the equation, and considering all the points I laid out in a previous post, I also personally think it makes a better story (someone previously wrote so convincingly about the archtypal fairytale...) to have Des realize that what she wanted was "there all along" vs. having to convince or pressure someone into realizing their true feelings.

No, it's really not hard to reconcile the spoilers. I just accept them. He is F1 according to them.

It doesn't make a better story. It's a horrible story to spend the whole season making a storyline around one couple and their growth and their conflict and then have it halted and start another one at the end.

A whole new love is not what threw them for a loop. What threw them for a loop was that Brooks and Des looked hunky dory up to and especially including the HTD. In Antigua, they meltdown. Now that would be "out of left field" for them. In the end, though, the person she picks they said was no surprise.

I know Brooks is probably still going to be f1 but I do think Des has a thing for Drew. Why it's not coming out when she talks about the guys, I have no idea. Possibly editing - maybe they're wanting to make it a 2 horse race in order to surprise us when Brooks leaves because then it would be assumed it will be Chris and of course it won't be. I will be interested to see how Drew's FD is edited.

That pic is Chris, Iam4UGA. I had to look closely though.

It's never the obvious choice and they're making Chris the obvious one when Brooks leaves. I'm still thinking Brooks will be the f1 but Drew will be a factor that nobody will expect. It's not because I don't think Chris could be the f1 but all about trying to figure out the editing.

to be honest, i believe wholeheartedly Chris is (the obvious) F1 (hey!!.i maybe bias.. laugh out loud

)..but they still need to finish the show with the roller coaster and dark house guy. thats explain Des "confession" with Brooks mantra...everybody will think Brooks will be the F1. Hey! Des promise it would be a true portrayal that Love is unpredictable. so it will fit with either Chris or Drew in the end. but unfortunately i believe Des will let Drew go at LCD. (though the verandah room scene is still a mystery to me). just a little cue : she mentioned she can be herself only when she is with Chris, in practically on all of their dates since Ep.3. We shall see at the finale.... :gotcha:

If she's sharing her hurt over another man with Drew, it's understandable that he would be stiff and uncomfortable... but maybe with Drew’s compassion, etc, they were able to get past it.

I think it is as simple as that. The beach scene is the FD, the kissing on the bed scene is a LCD scene as it is more like the past LCD's location versus the upscale FD location. Since there is lobster in that picnic on the mountianside, why would they do that, then come back down and have dinner. That makes no sense. But if the mountainside picnic was the dinner/afternoon activity on their LCD which is usually more of a laidback situation, then it all makes more sense that they'd have the horseback ride/beach scene on their FD.

Lobster is lunch on the mountain . Dinner or light meal is during the pm portion of the LCD

....WOW. Drew moved to LA? I think this may be the biggest clue that he is very close to becoming the next lead for The next Bachelor!! edit: I guess that is old news and not significant at all.

I think Chris is also an excellent choice for The next Bachelor. Except that Chris seems so perfect and doesn't have as compelling of a backstory.

They had a picnic at Shirley Heights (sitting on the mountain) during the day (Des was eating something in the scene shown in the first extended preview) then must have gone to the Shirley Heights Lookout to watch the sunset- it is a tourists attraction. I checked and sunset around the time they were filming was around 6:30 p.m. This is why I do not think the lobster was lunch and not dinner for FD but later part of LCD before going to the hotel room. Like I said earlier I also feel it's LCD because Drew is considerably darker there, just like Chris on what we believe to be his LCD.
