In the SC of her running away from the FRC site, why are we assuming she's running after someone? Maybe the F2 rejection doesn't go well -- he dumps her instead of giving her the chance, then leaves, having said his piece. She stands there for a minute trying to compose herself, can't do it, then runs off to have a good cry.

IDK, but if a F2 rejection upsets her this much, maybe she should learn a lesson from Jason's experience and think a little longer before jumping in with both feet.

There's no way she starts her 'proposal time' with her F1 telling him what a dreadful day she's had so far. That's all done. Nothing left but the proposal and the twirl with the only guy she really wants. There's something more there.

I agree about running because she is sad. But maybe it is not because she is unsure of JP, maybe just because she cares so much for Ben as a person and it really hurts her to hurt him.

Re the bolded - I think this is the most likely scenario, nutty. Her F2 is her F2, because she wanted her F1. She has said more than once, PI? Interview? that she hates hurting the rejected guys. If Ben becomes too distraught, hurt or angry/defensive over it and chooses to walk away from her in that condition, I think it is going to upset her very much. This doesn't have anything to do with her feelings for her F1.

We have to figure out which screencap tells THE story. IE, in Brad ver.1 there was a screencap of him sitting all alone after all was said and done, they gave it to us and we didn't take it. In Jason's season we had the famous "Mesnick/balcony screencap, again they gave it to us. Which of this season's screencaps is telling us something? I am sure it is (or will be) right there for us.

so 1. F2 walks out on her after rejecting her
or 2. F2 gets mad and storms off after she rejects him

Either way she's beat up about the whole scenario as we can see in her PI and later we see GSC walking away from the podium (well unless he walks right back to place and is pacing sideways... )

I'm not sure I get what you're saying is any different that what I said- I said she wouldn't need to run after her F2, she would escort him out - unless he dumped her. I suppose he could storm off after she rejects him. I just don't get that vibe from Ben

At this point in time, I don't get that vibe from Ben either. However what's interesting was a tweet from Ashley S. about the communication between Ben F. and other bach alumni gals (don't remember whom; Marrissa..?) about meeting up. Ash S. tweeted it was 'disrespectful' (to Ash H.) to do this while the show still aired. Is Ash S. privy to some 'negative' info about Ben F? Does she have hurt feelings for her BFF? Just some food for thought!

This is interesting -- Ash S actually posted on this board about how it was "in bad taste" for Ben F to be tweeting with the other girls but the second part is also interesting -- Ash S also posted that there were people she could not speak about who are not being very nice to Ashley H hmmmm

She finally remembered she's actually a dental student on the verge of graduating and there's a final that day.

My take on the whole thing after watching in slo mo about a dozen times is that F2 (Ben) comes and she talks to him..it looks like she is trying to pull her hand with the tatoo back from him and he is pulling it closer. Whatever happens she is distraught and the crying scenes take place. I think between then and F1 she has her makeup freshened up and that is when the earrings switch sides. GSG (JP) to me looks like he is not walking away from her but moving to the side instead of in front of her....esentially the 90 degree turn they normally take. She looks sad but I think it is more serious and tension of the moment because at the final seconds of the slo mo you can see she is just starting to break into a smile. JMO but that is what I see when I look at slo mo.

Is this the smile you're referring to? Would be good if someone can capture it in hi-def? The shots where she was visibly tearing up and holding back from crying seem to match up with the last shots of the pacing GSG -- based on the sun angle on her hair in all of the shots being similar. She's still visibly more somber than her usual bubbly self too in these sc...so I have a hard time understanding how they all work together. the earlier shots of her tearing up looked genuinely being upset

She said in an interview that she had an almost "physical reaction" when she had to let a guy go, that it hurt so bad. Maybe she's running to the bathroom? :P Just kidding.
