Episode 8 (HTD's) - 7/18 - Bachelorette 9 - Discussion - Spoilers

Chris says that line ? Oh boy I heard Brooks.

I like Chris and Drew (and Zak) but after what Des has said the last two weeks about Brooks being in love and wanting a proposal, I can't imagine anyone else but him being F1. Its Brooks or no one this season.

They are all great guys, no doubt but Des fell for Brooks.

The one thing I will say is that last week I think Des could have recovered from the I love Brooks thing if she picked Chris or Drew as F1 but now two weeks in a row of it and her saying straight to CH now..."I see a proposal with Brooks." I don't see how she can "switch" to anybody else. We have FD next week and her crying over Brooks and wanting to go home then a week later fully over him and ready to say "yes" to someone else? I don't see how that happens!?! It would be completely disingenuous.

In theory, we are suppose to be watching a love story unfold right? ! Well, I am story but who wants a love story where your girl saying she is in love with and crying over the other guy (who may have also left BTW) a week before she says "yes" to you?!

We had something similar with Ali but she NEVER expressed the feelings for Frank the way that Des has for Brooks. Also, Ashley cried for Bentley but she has weeks after to realize that JP was the one!

Listening to what Nate says about no one being right Des or something like that. I got the feeling that he's setting up a Des picks no one situation.

Nate gave a foreshadowing too. He said that Desiree was going to be broken hearted again.

I think it's Chris who said that like I did before.

Brooks didn't look happy except at the greeting. It looked like a "but" was coming up after the last part. I felt like Des looking happy with him was spliced in from when they first sat down.

We saw them together & Des crying in the previous preview so can't happen later. We also saw Des in the same daytime outfit talking about being heartbroken so the date had already ended with no FS. She's too upset at the f3 RC for it to be any other time.

How the heck did he figure that out from just listening to his sister describe the guys. Dislike him greatly.

Yes exactly. It all happened on one day i.e. the day of their FD date.

I'm not sure where folks are coming up with different dates.

I agree, its all spliced together. I think he leaves at the beginning of his date.

What was he wearing when he answered his door?

I'm going to get jumped on by many for saying this but how the heck did she do the MTPs and LCDs for at least Chris and possibly in part Drew also if she was that set on chucking it all at the F3 RC ?

She is not a great actress yet she managed to be normal and have fun barely a week after the bottom of her world opened up ?
