Wow. I guess people in the audience reacted to an unedited and real JP. I cannot imagine that ABC paid the audience off to hate JP.

Really we must have watched a different show. I saw a guy trying to protect her and taking the brunt of the crap so she wouldn't. I guess this is where every ones perception comes in.

That is what I am seeing as well Nonnie.. I am so disappointed with the Batch crew right now. Clare in all her glory, did not give JuanPa a chance to rebut what she is saying. He took the high road and did not say anything bad about Clare, but yet he is the scum of the earth. Whatever…Why do you think they are taking so long to release his People's blog. Maybe he is explaining his side of the story. Everyone else had their turn.

If JPG wanted to protect Nikki he wouldn't make her look like an idiot with the ily stuff. He said it on twitter, he clearly acts like he loves her, so if he can't say ily, he at least could have said how amazing and wonderful she is. Instead, he wanted to snub tptb and made her look like an idiot for sticking with him. Physically, he was affectionate, but emotionally? Nikki's feeling were less important than sticking it to tptb.

I agree with you here, but in order for there to be a non-white/gay lead, Foldemort (if you get my drift with that moniker) would have to become an enlightened, sensitive, compassionate, open-minded person who cares more about the human condition than he does about money, ratings and his ego. What are the chances of THAT happening?

I think Nikki and Juan Pablo both planned what they were gong to do on the show. Notice, she didn't say anything when he was talking? JP is obviously upset with the way he was used and abused on the show, and he showed it. I don't blame him for sticking it to them, and if he chose not to give up anything, well, that is his and his girlfriend's perrogative.

Nikki is a smart and intelligent woman. She will know if he truly loves her and if he does, he will tell her when it matters. They want to keep their lives private, and personally, I applaud them for that. Now, should he propose to her and they plan to get married, this is one wedding that ABC wont have to provide free ring for, and put on a spectacle of a wedding for ratings. They also wont be dragged out like puppets for every Men Tell All/Women Tell All, ATFR and ABC weddings of people they barely know. I say good for Juan Pablo for sticking it to the TPTB.

I am going to let them be and it will be "Okay!"

Agree completely that JP was being protective not controlling. We've all discussed how if you are afraid of heights, they send you on a date to jump off something. Nikki said her greatest fear was being hurt; JPs hurting someone. Well, let's call the ATFR scene the Nikki JP's fear factor date. CH hammers the ILY & proposal issue as his proof the Nikki is hurt and that JP hurt her. In actuality, CH is the one trying hurt each of them but they're done with him at this point.

About Clare: I actually thought TPTB did an untruthful "sex pot" edit of Clare. All those close-ups of her protruding lips and showing not much of her talking except about her father (daddy's princess stereotype) or about physicality. I'm glad she chose not to talk with JP further as that would have just meant CH probably trying to stir up drama between the 2 of them. JP is in a relationship and Clare sees JP is not the guy for her anyway, I'm convinced TPTB used her as well. They probably told her all along that she was his favorite.

This is how differing opinions are....... I saw Clare as looking rode hard and put up wet and everyone else saw her as looking beautiful. To me her close ups looked like a rough looking gal. My perception.
