YES!!! This is what I have been saying, where is the evidence that points to Ben being F1, other than "JP is too obvious" or RS's most recent track record of mistakes? In Brad's season, there was some evidence on both sides to consider. This season, everything seems to point to JP. In the dearth of any actual "Ben F1" evidence, all I see is an effort to discredit the "JP F1" evidence, and offense when anyone tries to discredit the discrediting.

I haven't ruled out the possibility that Ben is F1, but if that's the case, I hope to see some clues of how this happened. I guess the next episode is the most likely place where things may start to turn around. However, if nothing much changes, then either we can probably stick a fork in it, or consider it the most tone deaf editing job in the history of this show.

Great post and it seems like TPTB are releasing more Ben F and Ashley pics from the season any time someone asks for more pics from JP and Ashley on twitter. Could this be considered a clue for the Ben F fans?

Seeing as no one actually SAW Ash ""with her man"" last weekend I find it hard to assume that is the only option. No one has SEEN any such thing

IA, Jeepers. Nobody offered up any proof of seeing Ben out and about either. I do believe the one who said he had a meeting with Ben & his partner on Friday but that could have been when Ashley was taping her MTA video. It would be easy to set up fake sightings but also I'm sure there are ones where they just think it's who they want to see.

I'm not sure what evidence you all want that Ben could be f1. Usually all you can offer is doubt in these things. The edit seems to tilt his way and against JP. The f1 is often much more hidden than the f2 person. I know of at least one of Ashley's blogs that seemed to point to Ben. She singled him out in the orphanage date yet again in the blog. I haven't actually read them all so have no idea if some point to JP.

Ben [Flajnik] stood out to me more than anyone else on the orphanage date the week prior. He was funny, witty, artistic and great with the kids. On top of that, he looked great in a beanie! I could not wait to take him on the first date in Chiang Mai, a city of great cultural significance.

At the marketplace, we were able to listen to Thai music, taste Thai cuisine (which happens to be my favorite) and visit one of the oldest temples in the world. I learned from this date that Ben was the total package. He was easy to be around, interesting to talk to, and had so much depth to him. All I wanted to do was kiss him, but just my luck – we were at one of the holiest places in Thailand and could not kiss. The tension was tangible.

I think there's now some question about how it all shakes out at the FRC at least to me. Does JP leave? Maybe. Was he rejected? Who knows? I know people are going to say that the lead always looks sad with the actual f1 and vice versa with the f2 but we're not being shown the guys so that doesn't come into play yet. All they're letting us see is the possibility that a guy walks out. I believe that was so we'd think she ends up with nobody but it also could be the f2 leaving on his own. Of the 2 of them I think it's far more likely that JP would do that (personality-wise) plus I think the SC's fit more with him than Ben (if he's DSG). I'm sure there's more if I had time to think of it but I do believe that Fleiss has some tricks up his sleeve. Whether it plays into Ben being f1 or not I have no idea. I'm not really adverse to whichever guy that Ashley picks. I just don't think it's a done deal. :Nod:

Where is the evidence besides the bolded?

There's never real evidence nor do we have to prove anything. You can be sure as you like but it doesn't mean we all have to agree. I'm quickly getting over this. I haven't seen any "real" evidence that it's JP either and even if you're right and I'm wrong does it really do any harm?

I almost hope we don't figure it out before the finale because that would make the finale really exciting. We'd all be holding our breaths waiting to see who was right and who was wrong.

Ninu also has a list like this going and the evidence is totally crushing IMO. However, you forgot what sealed the whole thing for me early on: AshleyS. I'm really lucky to have a close circle of girls and I can't put it any better than: besties know. We know where everything is going with some guy from a single, schwasty text because it's so obvious and clear.

I think what we need is a pro-Ben list... at some point, it'll MAYBE become long enough that it warrants a comparison to JP's lists, but I don't see that happening just yet I'm back on the Cupcake Tram, it's okay if it turns into a fireball @ the FRC
