Now the previews all make sense. Like others have speculated, tptb had to introduce doubt about Brooks' outcome since she is so gone for him.

ITA with this statement. The way he feels so strongly about his family and him being honest, saying it was great hearing Des say was running toward the finish line and he in his PI says he is at a jog, just a step behind, something must absolutely change that makes him feel so strongly by the last nite for him to propose.
And their date being on Cloud 9 has to be a pretense as to how this will end. It is obvi she is on cloud 9 and heed over heels for Brooks. Her eyes say it all. :Flirty:

She's never lost sight of Brooks from the start. I love their times together, and there is obviously more that goes on during their road trips than we are privy to.

They even used Cat them to lead Des away from talking about Brooks. She's over the moon for him but they are trying to keep the editing earthly and away from Cloud 9.

Drew's hair reminds me of when my mother used to dress my brother when we were going to church....And then she would lick her hand and slick back his hair. I just can't get into him. He looks like he's 12.

I want to point out that Des talked over and over about her feelings for Brooks...

"I'm hoping and I want Brooks to start feeling exactly how I feel about him"

She also wants the challenge to hear him reciprocate. After all she expressed, how does she go out with the other guys. At least with some, she's going thru the motion.
