Or Drew's yoga position when he sits?
Ha! You both beat me too it. Because they ALL cross their legs.

Somehow I don't think Des' "bombshell" will seem all that dramatic to us.

You mean like the 'ferocious' fight between Brooks and James? Not even a snow ball fight.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Some guys just naturally list toward the center line of male/female, just like some women do. It doesn't mean they're gay, like you're insinuating. Some men naturally have softer voices and are soft-spoken and articulate. Some men really like to have perfectly placed hair. Some men like longer hair. Some men have no problem embracing their feminine side. Maybe it's because it's the culture they live in or maybe it's because they're totally comfortable with that feminine side, or both.
The best guys are totally comfortable with their feminine side just like I find the most likable girls and the girls I could befriend are totally comfortable with their masculine side (ala Desiree). Desiree has a lot of boy in her. She embraces playing rough, sports, taking risks, playing with the boys. She likes playing with the boys. I always have, too. When I was growing up I liked to compete with the boys, liked to be tough and show off muscles, not sit and gossip and have hair-curling parties, and yet I am not gay. I still to this day pride myself on any muscle I have. And the feminine-listing but totally masculine guys float my boat, ala Brooks.
Now, since Desiree definitely embraces her more masculine side, it seems fit that she'd be attracted to the guys who embrace their feminine side. She obviously gave her opinion on what she wanted, at the start, and lo and behold, a lot of guys that people are questioning, yet are totally into Des and fighting for Des—distinctly un-gay.
Brooks, to me, is just sexy and hot. I can see he wouldn't like some prissy, girly-girl (Emily), which Desiree decidedly is not. He said, before the season started, in that Access Hollywood interview, that he was really glad it was Des.
They have a blast together, it is plainly obvious. They work well together.
As for Brooks' hair, I've never considered it greasy. He just lets it flow naturally. He has naturally wavy hair (I do, too) and he has probably developed techniques to deal with it. One thing people with naturally curly hair should not do is wash their hair every day. I don't. I do it every 3-4 days. Otherwise my hair gets too dry (a naturally curly hair trait) and gets all poofy. It doesn't make a person's hair greasy, however, because that's the point, naturally curly hair doesn't have a lot of grease.
He also probably uses gel. Good gel shouldn't make his hair look greasy, either.
He might not comb his hair much, either, otherwise it ruins the waves and it goes poof!
I also find that my hair is a lot more listless in a dry climate, which Salt Lake is (I now live in Kansas City). My hair curls a lot more in a humid climate.
His hair looks very nice. It looks like a lot of guys' hair around here. He has waves that he just has to let go. I should point him toward this DevaCurls thing I've done and products and techniques I use that have worked wonders.

I wonder what it means when women don't cross their legs like they were supposed to in the dark ages. Are they pegged as lisbos?

I hate constrictive norms and generalizations. Like there's actually dos and dont's for crossing legs. I guess in that generation men aren't supposed to cry either . Poor tear ducts.

I am totally comfy hunting and fishing and playing rough. I played full contact football in college and am an adrenaline junkie. That being said, even while playing rough or hunting...I can say there is nothing whatsoever masculine about me and men and women who are with me during these activities would attest to it. I wear full makeup hunting, camping, fishing and playing football. It doesn't stay on and I do not constantly refresh but the girl is always right there on the surface. I just do not go for effeminate men, EVER. Metrosexuals are OUT for me. Not attractive to my sensibilities whatsoever! I would not ever go for any man that would fight me for the mirror in the morning. Brooks is cute to me, no more...and his hair does look greasy sometimes. It is the style, I have seen other models with that look. I do not care for it. I have dated men with longer hair, but they did not add so many products (actually, not any) to it to make it look dirty. I just think different people are attracted to different things, and this is good. Otherwise, many of us would be without a mate.

Good one. There was a proper way taught in "finishing school" and that was to cross your ankles and never, ever your legs. LOL, I always cross my legs. So I am a failure for Miss Betty from Athens, GA.

Does anyone think that the "bombshell" Des drops is simply eliminating 3 guys instead of the planned 2 (which has happened on past seasons and has probably also been described as a "bombshell")? In most seasons, episode 7 starts with six contestants, which gets cut down to four for HTDs. Maybe Des is so sure of her F1 that she asked to get rid of all the others a little quicker than usual, so she wouldn't have to split her time between guys as much. I even suspect she would have been happy to send home more than the three she did if they let her.

I'm just wondering if Juan Pablo is already cut at that time and she says she's cutting 2 guys and not 1 at the Rose Ceremony.
I'm really thinking that the show let Juan Pablo out in order for him to vote in time. Anyone recall when Juan Pablo tweeted? Too bad his vote didn't go his way!
