Wow, that makes sense.  So I'm going with that as the reason why her full name came up!!!

My oldest daughter got married in November and her wedding stuff consumed my life for ten months so I view all of her tweets like that in terms of wedding prep. His response was "it was a tough spell" so I immediately thought they were writing their full names down for the wedding invitation info!

The correct spelling is Ligaya which means Joy or Happiness.  In Filipino tradition, our mother's last name is always part of our middle name/names.

So I guess the nickname "Gaya" comes from Ligaya. Learn something new every day lol!! Sean, are you paying attention to all this good information LOL!!

I don't really remember that, but I have watched their one on one time way more than the group dates, so that's probably why. I always thought that Gaya was just a nickname her family gave her.

I always think of Mejia as a Spanish name. Is it also a Filipino name or maybe Cynthia has a Spanish bloodline too?

FYI..The Philippines was colonized by Spain for several decades so most have spanish names.

333 years I believe, so most of our names and last names are Spanish. Although, we don't speak Spanish our dialects have a lot of Spanish words in them.

Yes, it would mean that Giudici will be their children's middle names if she follows Filipino tradition.

I like the thought that the reason why she tweeted about it is because they might have been writing wedding invitations.  If that was the case then Sean is an expert of it now.
