did anyone catch the odd thank you in the breakup speech.  one was when they were sitting and Brooks had pulled Des into his arms when she says she wants the simple things and cries on his chest and he says I'm sorry and then Des says: no, don't. thank you.  

then again when they are walking an and give that last hug goodbye it sounds like a you're welcome.  strange...

perhaps this is the price they had to pay to MF... a prank of some sort?

Yes she did say "thank you" according to the closed captions.

yes eusebeia, that is how I caught that. it sounded like it and then when I rechecked with CC on, that's what they typed. the thing that sounded like you're welcome wasn't caught with CC. just an odd thing that stirs the interest.

^^^ i thought she was thanking him for apologizing for what he was doing--breaking her heart. it was probably important to her that he wasn't just doing it callously but he really was sorry to hurt her.

I don't know if it is ugly.  But it's annoying to have his thread full of people claiming his fans will be disappointed tomorrow.  
I don't post negative things in other guys threads.  Never have. Which is indicative of why this is the only active "fan" thread.

So true.  I read Chris and Drew threads which are totally love fests and wouldn't feel I wanted to rile anyone up or get into arguments or ruin their fun fandom.  In Brooks thread there is no such courtesy afforded his fans.  Glad there is this thread.

 I am glad too that it is here and got moving. It had been on 8 posts for a while. I guess with Brooks being spoiled as F1  anything revolving around his forum was open season and Brooks fans were told repeatedly that it was a discussion forum not a fan forum and that there was a fan thread to go to. Which eventually people did. I guess the F2 and F3 forums were not as bombarded since obviously the projected F1 was the one to target.

I think it's due to so much lack of caps of Brooks even coming back. I am glad that this thread is here, because no matter the outcome, Brooks is going to get the majority of the negative posts.

I have listened to that over and over...He says you are not feeling like this for no reason. I think that is when he realized her feelings were stronger than he thought.

hulu.com  you can turn closed caption on and watch to your hearts content.  also put in your ear buds to knock out noise and see what is said.

cool. thanks gator. i'm not good at deciphering voices so i will leave that to the experts here, but if i rewatch online i may try that so as not to miss anything in brooks' crying apology. he is a little hard to understand at times. i have no problem understanding JuPa though.
