So true eusebeia and everyone here. This show is about Brooks' emotional process and how it lead him to understand the depth of love he had for his Desiree. A love he tried to deny because the circumstance of that love was under abnormal conditions. His brain tried to understand it but his heart was confused until his heart felt a pain that could only be defined as love. His brain and his heart had a conversation that led to an alignment between the two. And now they work as one . Wholeheartedly and whole souled he belongs to
Des.

You're right that the shift started earlier. At the HTD Des got one chat, with Brooks' Mom. But Brooks got 3--his sister, his brothers, and his Mother. And even that wasn't enough, so we got the Boise scenes.

I think I posted earlier about Brooks getting the "hero" entrance and music--with cymbals--on his HTD. I will be listening for cymbals Monday night.

I noticed that triumphant sounding music to and that beautiful/dramatic music during the family discussions. I really hope to hear it again as Brooks proposes to Des.

When I was driving home from work today, I got behind a car with...Utah plates. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I have ever seen Utah plates in Texas. :Smiley:

I just watched their HTD again, which was so good. Looking forward to Monday night.

I kid you not. There have been 3 times I've turned on the radio random and the song has been, Gotta keep you head up twice and I choose you once. What a smile it put on my face.

Sometimes I feel like I'm wishing my days away waiting for the next episode, especially this next one. I have to work this w/e so at least the time will go more quickly. It's kind of fun to know the ending but not really sure how they will get there.

Saw someone mention the HTD...that's when I could really see Brooks love for Des shine through, so great to see the walls come down for him. That's part of the reason the last episode was so hard, he seemed so apprehensive again.

I know this is Brooks fan page but after today watching last Monday's episode, Des really did have amazing guys at the end. The final four probably would propose to her if given the chance....how many girls can have that. Monday will be mixed with Chris and Drew getting their hearts broken. They all seem to be happy now so that's what is important. :yes:

I love that song I Choose You...I wonder what their song will be??? There are so many great songs that would fit for them.

I still think it was his head that was the problem not his heart. I thought the way he said it "In my head I think this is it .....but not my heart." was backwards. His actions showed me a man trying to do right by everyone and make certain of how he feels and not just foolishly rush into something but unfortunately too much thinking led to not enough of just letting himself truly feel. I cannot fault him for overthinking it, I mean it is the rest of his life and someone elses after all and I tend to be an overthinker as well in my everyday life, I get so exhausted at times with thoughts. It can literally drain all feeling from you. Once he left and all the thinking was done, the feeling re-emerged and it was the feelings he had just told her were lacking when reasoning why he was so unsure.

Another thought, way early on, wasn't there photos of PI or screen caps that were of Brooks that people identified as Antigua? Or did it end up being somewhere else? I remember people saying Brooks looked like he had been getting some sun and IIRC he was happy in that screen cap. They had also had a Chris cap in the similar background. Maybe it ended up Spain or Madeira but I remember at least at beginning it was identified as Antigua....

I Choose you is so apropro. It's about not being able to choose the family you're born in but one of the BIG choices you get is who you marry. Andy Grammer has such great lyrics.

I'm not sure, but that one seems fitting since it was the last song we saw them dancing to on their best ever first date according to Dez. Hopefully it won't be cheesy whatever it is. What is that song by Stefano?
