I don't get this Brooks/Des match. How would you ever go back to someone who was that unsure of his feelings - and who had put you through such torment? Your life would be full of doubting - how could you trust his feelings ever again? I kind of felt that Des might have known a little of what was going on - she looked sad before Brooks arrived - while she was waiting for him. And I have to agree with other posters - she seems to have an awfully happy and good time with Chris to have been so in love with Brooks. Going back to the old days - Chris was the 16th arrival from the limos on the first night - wonder what tha means .... Drew I think was the first - I'll have to go back and check --

Tonight was hard to watch, but I could clearly see the realization dawn on his face as soon as he said no goodbye had ever been that difficult... that he never wanted to say goodbye and leave her, he missed their times already, etc. What was most telling to me was the raw emotion. He didn't just cry because he hurt her- he was practically sobbing and I am pretty sure I even saw a little bit of snot come out of his nose when he bent over. That's some intense crying! This is all JMO of course, but that ending part when he watched her from far away is what convinced me. I think he's still stuck in his head and thinks it's just because he didn't want to hurt her (i.e. saying I hoped she was in love with the other guys) but he will soon connect it to what his brother said on the hometown date and it will come full circle. I still believe!!! MF seems like he really enjoys the "redemptive fairytale." Keep the faith everyone!

He'll be back for Des. What was amazing was you can hear their heart beat and at the end it became one. That told me everything I needed to go. Brooks is not going anywhere.

There is no way she picks Chris or Drew. I am keeping the faith because I believe he really does love her and is just afraid of getting his heart broken. This episode was so difficult to watch but I think both of them have been played by TPTB. It's Brooks or no one...it will be Brooks. This wait is gonna be a difficult week.

PS BTW if I were home I would watch this episode over because there is so much that was extremely difficult to hear/understand. What was clear though is his shock that she loves him, "why didn't you tell me that earlier". I feel robbed because I think we will be missing great love scenes between the two of them...maybe not. We shall see.

I think she picked Brooks. I pray he wasn't manipulated into it. I also hope they are happy together. I have my doubts though, I have had a nagging feeling for a few weeks. I also hope I am wrong.
