As hard as it was to watch, it will be Brooks or nothing. No matter how those other two tugged at her heart, she only wanted to confess it to Brooks. Geez this is weird.

Yep that scene proved it. I think seeing how he hurt her just woke him up and he realizes he does loves her. He had no idea how much that she loved him.

I think he just realized how much he loves her. He didn't want to leave and he already missed the times they had together.

What did his sister say "that you never want to leave that person" He cried almost as much as she did.

Nothing hinting that he doesn't either. I do not think she picks a default because she always said she doesn't settle.

Man I'm glad I was spoiled and found this site. Otherwise that would have been unwatchable.

But they DID already start the "turn" for Brooks, with the PIs saying he was missing their moments, didn't want to leave her, etc. They let Des toss her relationships with Chris and Drew into the dumpster fire, so really the only way forward is for Brooks to come back. They could have left it with a much more definitive Brooks-is-gone ending.

The Brooks-Des conversation was LONG--covered three segments iirc. Very odd in a breakup to still allow/want physical contact.
