 Des seems totally underwhelmed to me, and I can't say I blame her.  

What I wouldn't give to see someone like Ryan from Emily's season as the Bachelor...can you imagine the entertainment?  It would be hilarious!

Ryan would be more entertaining than any of these guys, but would they find contestants who want to be a trophy wife for him? I think it might be time for a celeb. or sports star. TPTB threw out the name Adam Scott. Not sure they could get him, but someone like that might be good.

I don't think it's a good sign for your show when Manny & Jan are the highlight.  I actually thought Des & James had the best 1 on 1 so far.  I know the preview showed issues with James, but I liked him with Des.  

Of course, that's not saying much since Des doesn't really seem to have chemistry with any of the guys.  Or maybe it just seems that way because Des is so bland?  She just has this permanent sweet, smiley face on all these dates, but there is no real personality there.  And I put a lot of the awkwardness on some of these dates on her (just as much as the guy).  She does nothing to help the conversation along.

The Mr. America date was not as funny as I thought it would be.  And that after-party was sad.  SO annoyed we didn't get to see any of her time with Juan Pablo.  SO annoyed we didn't get to see any of her time with Drew.  I do think they're setting Drew up to be The Bachelor though.

Brooks?  Just no.  He is so unattractive, and I don't get the appeal at all.

He actually channeled Tiny Tim playing his uke in that scene, greasy hair and all.

There are 2 new deleted scenes. One with Drew and one with Zak.

Ratings went down last night. In no way is this surprising.

On ABC, The Bachelorette hit a new season low with a 1.6, down two tenths from last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating.

This thread is all about exchanging opinions There is a Fan thread only for the F4, so here is a place where non-brookies have to feel free to voice their opinion, therefore there usually is a bit more negative than positive, since the positives have a special please!

Now for my opinion I love Brooks and Chris. I think Des is a lot more open and less shy than I expected, and if she was tired this week, so be it! I found this episode boring because they spent too long on Sandy and not enough on the group date.

I do think the editing is very weird though re. the kisses!

Sophienette I know that the show didn't respond to your tweet about the deleted intros... but, do you think they would answer who decides who is shown and who isn't?

I totally agree with both of you!  Only thing I can figure out is that the producers/editors know that Des and Brooks are not going to make it, thus they are portraying Brooks as unappealing as to protect the character of their lovely lead.
