Episode 4 - 6/17 - Bachelorette 9 - Discussion - Spoilers

My roomies and I all had to force ourselves to finish the show tonight. For 3 girls who have seen every episode of the show, for us to want to turn it off out of boredom is saying something. Heck, we don't even remember half the guys' names! We've decided that Des is just not compelling as a lead. Her personality doesn't shine through and her conversations with the guys are just awkward.

Really, the editing doesn't help. I am sure she has had lots of great/interesting conversations with some of the guys. Anything that is over-processed can never be presented in a natural form.

I agree.    Its because there's no memorable conversation and the sexual tension was not played out before every make out. These guys might have
been witty or funny but its not shown with Des.   If you kiss everyone after 2 seconds of talking with them, it will not feel special to the viewers.
I just think nobody is standing out.

TBTP thinks we want drama with Ben or the Brians.. but they should have put more emphasis a bit on the dates, make it more cute and exciting,
 at this point I just want one of the producers to get fired.


Des might be feeling the pressure of being the Bachelorette, so the making out with the boys is like saying  'thank you for being engaged in this process'.  
This process is probably not for Des cause she should be in full reign of this process but the process seems to be overwhelming  her.

I like those three too but there's something about Brooks. IMO

I think that's it. It's not about whom we like. Editing can do a number on us too. It's who Des feels connected too. I see it with Brooks.

It could be because we are spoiled, but I feel the same way. I feel like when it comes to Brooks, she can't contain her excitement or smile/laugh. JMO though.

I agree with you!! They all seem like nice guys, just not Bachelor material

And please do not bring Arie or Jeff back...but, Jeff in particular!!! I am still carrying on my anti pretentiousness campaign by refusing to spell it with one f!!!
