I don't understand what you mean by looking for closure.  They did a picnic overlooking the scenery.  That is the picnic that people are talking about.  Then in different clothes, they go for a horseback ride. then in different clothes again, they are seen during the evening portion of the what is presumed to be the FD.  Bottom line, there are too many sc's of different clothes/earings/hairstyles just to fit all in on a FD.

so with Drew, we have them dressed in one set of "day clothing" being the picnic.  Then in another completely different set and hairstyle of day clothing while on the beach, plus horseback riding, plus the night portion.  All of that is way too much to fit all in one day, therefore 2 different days and dates.

I'm referring to the scene on the beach in which she (IMO) explains why he is leaving. That's not part of a "date." That's the day after the 3-2. (IMO.)

So are you assuming Brooks hasn't left or has already come back?  I didn't take it that way at all.  So, the picnic, the horsebackriding, the dinner, the fs room all in one day, and all those changes of clothing, earings and hairstyles?  That seems almost too much.

I haven't decided about Brooks, but I think it could be a massive red herring. I looked at the caps after you posted, and it seems to me that the horseback could have led into the picnic. If you look at the picnic table, there is a sheet of paper/notecard on it (it may also be a napkin! LOL) that could be the invitation to the fantasy suite...which is where we see them next. Heck, I don't think that bed has been identified - it could be Drew's home bedroom! I'm not convinced it's from LCD. (But I've taken some Advil PM and maybe it's making me too lucid.) :Smiley:

I actually thought of that (Drew's bedroom), but then the tropical plant sort of convinced me it was Antigua!  
I am not saying it isn't a match, but all we see of Des' shirt on horseback riding is that it is white. Not 100% convinced it is same shirt as beach scene. Drew has on a blue colored T-shirt, but those seem to be around in large quantities, LOL!
They probably do go together….but I'd still rather see a picture of her shirt close up.

As far as the 3 to 2 RC, it may be just a "formality" if Brooks is gone. She is crying a lot….as much as it pains me to say it, I think Brooks is not there.

But I also don't think Brooks will swoop in during the last 5 minutes of the episode and propose to her. I think he returns early enough to even have time for a family visit and some alone time…..though TPTB will save it all for the last 30 minutes of the show.

I think Drew goes to the last epi and has at least his LCD. I don't know when his issues come up so I can't say about the MTP.
It could be this season they do the LCD first and then the MTPs.
It looks like there are plenty of days for Brooks to come back and have a day of MTP and LCD together or separately in the time they allotted for the last episode.

I'm now convinced that the horseback ride goes with the beach scene where it appears Drew's leaving.  




You can see the white top & black pants in both pics. I know it's not clear in the SC but while watching the clip you can see her black pants. I didn't notice the white in her top in the beach scene until yesterday. That's when the light bulb went off for me. I know nd4reality has been saying this for days but I needed to be sure for myself. :Nod: 

I don't think you can write this off as FD or day after RC. There's no way they're giving Drew a date in that circumstance. It has to be a LCD. (will put this in the Drew & Des SC thread also)

I haven't been following this. Looks like the same date to me. Why does this have to be a LCD? Both FD and LCD are in Antigua, right? Why can't this be his FD?

In Emily's season, Arie met her family first. The next day when they were to have the LCD she let him go .... and the rest is history,

Because we already have SCs of his FD and they're wearing different clothes. Drew's clothes are similar but tshirt is a different blue.



Clothes plus hair & earrings for Des are different.

Thats for validating albean. I actually saw the SC that you had posted and confirmed that the clothes were the same.

And I agree that is it not just a random day after the RC talk that they would have given him. This happened on a date.

However, now I question the nature of the date. Horseriding (and some other activity no doubt) would normally be FD activity whereas the Hilltop picnic seems more like LCD (similar to what Em got on Brads season).

I don't mean this as an aggressive post to you, Atem, but I can't help myself with the snark...so please bear with me or bare with me--which ever the horses feel comfy with.
Are their horses supposed to be romantically inclined with each other just because they are on a date? The scs are a couple taken from a lot of film. Where the horses are in relation to each other at that moment would have little to no relation to the entire ride or the people enjoying each other, IMO.
But just for you, the editors provided me with this sc of the horses taken during the talking portion of Des/Drew date.


And as always that joker, Elan, sent me this--the fantasy suite portion of the horses date!

It's not going to be very romantic when one of them (probably Des) is going to drop a bombshell.  (Thanks for the laugh, Kasha  )

I don't think Brooks makes it to the F3 RC. Hasn't it been deduced that he leaves before his FD? Everything fits including Des in the same outfit saying her heart is broken and she wants to go home. It also fits with her being so upset at the F3 RC (with CH and then talking to the guys who are left). There's also that SC of Brooks in the limo. It's not for sure that he's leaving there but is teary eyed so it's likely. We don't have any SCs of Brooks on a date in Antigua so my guess is he doesn't get one.

Nd4reality, I don't see it being switched. It makes so much sense for the beach scene to be after Brooks left and one or both are questioning feelings.

Got a question that I have not seen addressed here. When does the chat that Des has with Chris Harrison - the one where she tells CH that she is in love with that man - appear to have been taken? The spoilers would indicate that she should be talking about Brooks (the spoiled F1), and she does not appear to be upset, but rather happily declaring that she knew who she was going to pick as her F1.

So, can anyone tell by the furniture and background in that picture where that chat with CH took place? If Des was telling CH that she was in love with Brooks, then that would seem to happen BEFORE Brooks is supposedly making his exit from the show.

Identifying that scene could possibly help to determine when Brooks might have left and how long he could have been "gone" (as missing from the SCs and previews). I do think that when Des was talking to CH at that time in the filming process that Brooks must have still been there. Otherwise, wouldn't Des be crying in that scene?
