I think that the reason she had to "consider replacing" is that it grew back. If it fell out and was still open she probably would just put the stud back but if it grew back, she would have to decide if she wanted to re-pierce it or not.

It's a good thing that she tweeted about it.... otherwise there would be rampant speculation about external forces coming to bear on her/it rather than the truth. Not that there won't be speculation anyway, but at least the truth's out there for those who seek it.

Which points out that there are benefits to using social media which is a topic we've also been discussing in this thread. A reality TV couple has to find some way to navigate the tabloid articles that focus on stories from unnamed sources of breakups and trouble in paradise. Though not the only way to quell these rumors, one way is an active dialog on social media that shows the couple is together and doing well; it's hard for a tabloid story to get traction when social media shows it's simply not true. Molly used the WWW and a blog to quell rumors before they could get started that Jason and DeAnna "had something going on"; Ashley & JP used Twitter to put any stories to rest that Cristie still didn't approve of JP. I don't know specifically that Sean & Catherine are consciously using social media this was but empirically they seem to be and the nose ring tweets are an excellent example of how they could be - to good effect.

This girl airport tweets this morning are pretty entertaining. She talks all about how she doesn't get people who look nice/dress nice for flights then says Cat is the only one who she won't judge for wearing heels.

This girl's timeline is pretty funny. She's been hating on the people at the airport until she saw Sean and Catherine. She mentions Austrailia but not sure if thats her destination. Guess our couple are heading out today for some reason.
