And yes, I agree about Allie. Even some of the things he said about his connection and chemistry with Kari would have made me suspicious of whether he feels for me as deeply as needed for us to have a 'forever relationship,' if I were Angela.

It was during his interview with huff post live. He mentioned that Jake went to school with him and his brother. Jake told him told him that when the show is airing and he is kissing other girls make sure he is there with his girl else she is no going to take it well.

I am still shocked he picked anyone. I never felt it at all. ANd when he proposed that was just ridiculous. They saw each other once in two months. How much was he paid to propose? I am so shocked this even made it to air online. It was such junk. And they praised the MMs? That is why Ben and Angela lied so long. To help their reputations.

Yup, that gave me pause as well. Isn't there always that nagging question with these reality dating show contestants: what came first? The desire to find love or the desire to exploit their 15 minutes of "fame."

I often have no issue with contestants taking advantage of post show opportunities and other times it rubs me the wrong way. I am not sure how I feel about Angela using her appearance on show as a launch pad to book and jewelry line. But, my interest in both of them is waning fast since they didn't last.

I am onto Bachelorette season and occasionally checking in on my favorite reality couples who actually made it.

I really feel bad for him. I noticed a picture he posted on Instagram & some of the comments being made. It is him with 2 couples & someone called him the 3rd wheel, while others said go back to Angela, etc. After ready her statements about the breakup, I think it was more her than him wanting to end it.

Why in the world do these people put those kinds of comments out there? It is so odd to me that they think they know enough to make judgments about reality tv relationships. Oops, lol! Ok, let me qualify that by saying it's ok here on a forum, but to post it on the contestants twitter, etc is just mean.

LOVINLIFE - I concur. I honestly did not see any chemistry between Ben and any of the girls, Angela in particular. That proposal was just a mockery. They hadn't even dated exclusively for a day at the time of the proposal. Is Ben naïve or impulsive (may be both). By week 9, Angela, like Kari had Ben wrapped around her finger. By the way I share Ben's initial instincts. He said at the beginning of the show he didn't think he had much in common with Angela. Why did the MMs select her for the show? They needed the resident virgin, just like the ex factor (Kari) for entertainment.

People got upset at my comments on Ben's Live Fyre page. I stated that Angela's purity pledge, in my view was a deal breaker in the real world. It will be incredibly difficult to be in a relationship with her unless one shares her views and I don't think Ben does. How could Ben know her well enough to marry her without being introduced to every aspect of her life? Any relationship is difficult as is. Add to it the complexity of constantly having to exercise some serious self restraint whenever he was with his FIANCEE. For how long? Oh until their wedding night. What a feat!! I say it's a bogus deal wrapped as a gift, if you don't share Angela's views.

I can't imagine how their secret meetings during those first couple of months after taping the show went. Wow!!! Remember that Ben hadn't dated a whole lot in the past 4 years and his lack of experience was evident in how he navigated his multiple/simultaneous relationships with the girls on the show. Is it a surprise that they didn't last? The last thing Ben needed was to be in a repressive relationship. One that was rigid and would only work on Angela's terms. Wedding for intimacy, I say quid pro quo!!

A moment that caught my attention was when Angela's stepfather John, looked Ben in the eye and told Ben that Angela was not pursuing him (Ben). So she signed up for a COMPETITIVE dating show, but not for the purpose of pursuing the subject (Ben). Sophisticated people from Angela's world confuse simpletons like me. Ah, I get it! The resident virgin was there to promote her profile and carve out a market for future book and jewelry sales. Unfortunately, this strategy wasn't that effective since NBC cancelled the show. Is there a God? Can I have an Amen?

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The subject of Angela's virginity should never have been brought up in the first place. I felt the same way about Sadie's situation on Lorenzo's season of The Bachelor, and Sean opening his mouth on his season.

Angela said in a recent interview that, now that they are not together anymore, she is happy she is still a virgin. Why is she still on the subject, if she thinks the show focused too much on it? Well because it is a marketing tool?? It set her apart from the other girls on the show and gave her the attention she was there for. How else would we notice her in the midst of the numerous girls on the show?
