I got a final digital cut of the song myself just two days ago and heard it for the first time. I want to get to the bottom of this "Matthew's jeep" business, too. Just what was going on back that that made them laugh when it was mentioned. No response from "little one" yet.

Hi Scott! My folks lived in Austin for 25 years so I LOL at some of your comments on Twitter about the zaniness of how things are run there. What other city's solution to avoid population growth is to not build roads (while simultaneously courting high tech companies to move to the area), LOL?

I adored Jenna on the show. She seems like such a confident young lady & handled herself beautifully. While watching the show & all of the questions about whether Jenna would hurt Tim, I kept wondering how her daddy felt about Tim, especially with the age gap...I take it from Tim's song you had some reservations?

No idea on the finale. Sometime in early August as I recall. Re: non-approval. Well, I suppose it fit well in the song. During the day they were at our house, some of the questions I asked him had to do with how he would sustain a relationship in a profession that required him to be away for large parts of the year. The narrative was that I was supposed to be really stern with him and put him on the spot. I asked that question of him several times in one form or another so it just kind of made its way into the song. Jenna told me it was in there right after she heard it at the finale.

Interesting, so is it fair to say that the producers encouraged you to ask specific questions -- in other words they had kind of a script for you to follow?

Yes. Tim and I have played golf several times and he's been over to the house for family celebrations, etc. Just like any daughter and boyfriend might do. Jenna's mom and I are quite impressed with Tim and think highly of him.

This may be too personal, but how have you seen Jenna grow as a person in this last year? Jenna was complimented both on and off the show for her maturity. Where/How do you think she comes by that?

Seems like Jenna has a new(er) job. Now that we know Tim has picked Jenna, is she going to be able to tour with him a little or will that not be possible due to work?
