Episode 8 - 5/28 - Ready For Love - Discussion - Spoilers

What's up for the next week - where they go - did Rancic say anything?
Where were their dates this episodes?
Are there any SCs, scenes that we've seen in the preview at the beginning of the season, that you think they might have been left out or they might be shown in the last episode?

Beb, I just saw it!

Holy moly, in my heart, I feel that Sara is the F1 - without a doubt! Their time in Mammoth with her family and just the two of them on the mountains just seems so absolutely sincere and genuine.

The thing that totally pops for me in this episode is how Tim describes his feelings to Jenna's folks. These may not be the exact words , but they are pretty doggone close. When asked by Jenna's Dad how he feels about Jenna, Tim says, "I'm falling for her, yes. I have not told her. I want to make sure that when I say it, I don't want to take it back because I'm not convinced." Notice this is almost his song title, "I haven't told her". He continues, "From everything that I'm reading, it seems like she is holding back. I don't know is she telling you something different?" It's almost like Tim's hoping her parents can give him hope or insight into Jenna's heart.

Obviously, I believe it's Jenna, but one thing struck me as another sign pointing in this direction. The peacock. When Jenna takes Tim to the park where she wants to get married, there is a peacock there. Doesn't Tim wear a peacock feather in one of his photos? Was it an interview photo? Can't remember right now, but that totally popped for me especially if it's been in an interview post show. I just don't remember right now...could it have been the Huffington Post interview?

During this episode Tim talks about seeing three different futures with his girls. With Sara, he says his life would be safe and it could be fulfilling. In the garden he says he felt welcomed, comfortable and instantly at home (with Sara's family). With Hailey, he says his life would be full of laughter. Later in the garden, he says to Hailey he finally saw the whole you and loved it. I adore you I really do. With Jenna, Tim says his life would be the most fun and it might be rocky. When Tim talks in the garden, he talks to Jenna last, but she cuts him off. After she confesses that she is falling in love with him, Tim says, "I know that something crazy is going on with us and I love it. I want to see where this is going so if you wouldn't mind hanging out over there."...indicating to Jenna to go stand by the elevators because he's keeping her around. Tim is then left to decide between Sara and Hailey. He chooses to keep Sara.

As Beb said earlier, it appears to be a decision of head vs. heart. If you believe it's Jenna, Tim's going with his heart, IMO.

May I also add, that on Jenna's hometown date, her family showed home videos. Jenna was adorable as a kid...just adorable. Loved Hailey's folks. Her Dad is precious. Same thing with Sara's Dad. He seemed like a terrific guy. On Sara's date her Dad got choked up because they felt like they've gotten their Sara back...in other words, she has healed from the loss of Timmy. Her Dad was so grateful to Tim for having been instrumental in bringing that about.

ETA: Lexforlife confirmed the peacock feather was in the Huffington Post interview. Thanks, Lex! No wonder Jenna says she likes Tim's pocket feathers -- they're a shout out to her!

Thanks everyone. I hate suspense. Once I know "the end" of anything, I'm more apt to relax and enjoy the process. I had this crazy thought that Ernesto might admit to being with Eva Langoria.
Alba kept tweeting like she was happy so I thought maybe her. Also Shandi was driving racing cars over the weekend. Wasn't Ernesto involved in that kind of thing?
My personal favorite of all the ladies is Hailey. She's the one who's kept me watching. She posts a lot of pics with her and Sara.. "losers stick together"? Maybe?
I guess I'm the only one here who finds Sara manipulative, and smug.

BTW, once Ben sent Renae home, I didn't like any of his remaining ladies. Whoever "wins" I doubt will last. Maybe being away from regular life so long when he was in Dubai, stunted his emotional growth.

While I certainly respect your right to your own opinion, I will say that I know many people who know Sara quite well and those are two adjectives I have never heard anyone use to describe her; quite the opposite.

I'm team sara still and I noticed the part where he said life with Sara would be fulfilling. There is an interview with the guys at some cafe and the reporter asks them one word to describe the ending. Tim used 'fulfilling'. Also, it sounds like there are still doubts with Jenna while with Sara there are none and he feels loved and safe.

Litta And Beb, Thanks For The Run Down Of The Episode. It Is Definitely Sounding Like He Chooses Jenna. Sounds Like He Was Just Waiting For Jenna To Tell Him How She Felt. One Thing I Found Interesting Is, Given Jenna's critique Of Siham Saying She Was Falling In Love With Tim, How Can She Now Come Out And Say The Same Thing Just A Week Or So Later. Hopefully That Is A Lesson She Learned Going Through This, Not To Negate Or Judge Others On Their Timelines Of Love.

The Ernesto / Shandi Finale Sounds Like It Is Going To Be Fun To Watch.

Since it appears from all the sleuthing done by folks here particularly Litta and Happy (in addition to the intel I received) that Tim chooses Jenna, I can only surmise that he truly was torn between Jenna and Sara. Given what we have seen of Tim in terms of his sincerity and character, I would have a hard time believing he would keep Sara at this juncture unless he thought he might choose her. I won't be able to watch the episode until I return from the office this evening but based on what I am hearing from you guys about what transpired between Tim and Sara's dad, it seems to me that he would not want to hurt her any further and would have let her go at this point (not that he would want to hurt Hailey either, of course; her circumstances are different from Sara's though).
