Jenna or Sara, that is a question

Truth being told - no matter how much we "hate" the editing, the producers sure played the cards in their favor. They can edit the tone of footage any way they want. From the start they were focusing more on the connection Tim had with Hailey (same taste, similar mind, not always the same point of view or approach and I'm guessing that's where the friendship gets strong) and attraction for Christina that was more artificial than actual. Then they showed the real attraction with Jenna, the girl who caught Tim's eye on the first night, there was something in their initial embrace that was different from any other, a delightful excitement (not sure this term even exists, does it?), but then through the first episode she was out of focus. That started with 3rd ep. and the 4th and by the 5th Tim's "thoughts" were all for Jenna.

- now, I keep repeating, what I wrote to Mimi this morning in Sara's thread: I don't listen to words said, I don't believe any of their personal confession segments describing the feelings for each other, whether it's Tim, Sara or Jenna (some go over the top with the words, other diminish and some just divert), I listen to my feelings that I get watching them -

In episode 6, we could see really nice date with Sara, but I didn't feel Tim being attracted to her, not on the same or even higher level as for Jenna. Now if I "blame" the later editing in episode 7, I can even "blame" the editing for this part.
We don't see any intimate 1on1 time with Jenna, but we could still see a few Tim's glances at her and they showed us enough eye-rolls and jealous/possessive comments that Jenna made on Siham's account, to give us a glimpse of her "negative" side. On the other hand there's a picture perfect with Sara, a true connection. But boy! I don't see the attraction, the infatuation, the enthusiasm and the curiosity from Tim for Sara, something I feel watching Tim with Jenna.

Episode 7: we witness the most awkward family-in-law meeting ever, but also the most fun (sorry Hailey, you're still cute "little" funny"girl") - I mean, who laughed watching Tim's dad "eye roll"?

**Jenna, if you were cool so far, this has taken you to whole another level of coolness (because I would be embarrassed, not that you should be, because non of us knows how that meeting really went down), for the simple fact that you showed an honest reality, that sometimes it's scary to meet the Parents for the first time and that not everything goes as planned and even if there is no plan sometimes you can only hope they will not judge you nor put pressure on their son.

Sara's meeting goes great, 1on1 date with Tim is really cozy, I can see the attraction and that leaves me questioning. Not that I doubt of my deductions on F1. But I'm second guessing Tim and the editing.

When did that attraction happen? Where? - I didn't feel it in Hawaii from the scenes shown. So, was it there and the producers hid it? Or did something switch in Tim? Did the fear of being hurt and the doubts about Jenna, her inexperience and young age, take a toll on Tim? Did he take a step back in his relationship with Jenna?

- We don't know, because they didn't show us his "alone" time with her to figure. But we do know that there was 1o1 date, the same in Hawaii episode, the "wet" one. Some think that they didn't show us Sara's more intimate date in Hawaii either, but then how can I see the nice progression, when there's a giant leap, that nobody explained?!

I guess at the end I'm left with "the leap of faith" in who I believe F1 is.

happy I can not agree with you more. The thing I am left wondering about is after Tim and Sara parent meeting' he is by himself' saying how good it feels to be in love again is he referring to him with Sara because he just left there date. He had the same shirt and jacket on from there date. The only thing Sara is missing is her :halo: Sorry I just had to say that.

I wonder if Tim could, in the last show, pick one of the girls he eliminated from his girls...Maybe Tim could pick Hailey....that would be a SHOCK.....but a good one... :shocked!:

I didn't go back to check, but another poster pointed out that Sara had on different clothes during lunch, and it was assumed that maybe they were going out to dinner. :Smiley:

I posted in the Episode 7 thread that Tim and his family had on the same clothes for three of the women but wore different clothes with Sara which led me to deduce that either this was a dinner date or another day. Sarah M. indicated that the length of the dates often depended on with whom Tim wanted to spend more time.

In the other two groups, Ernesto's mom and sister had different clothes on with Shandi than they did with the other three and Ben's family wore different clothes with Taryn. So I am thinking each guy was allowed to choose the one woman with whom he wanted the most time.

That would make sense if those were their choosen F1. We already have Ernesto & Shandi,
Tim & ? could be Sara, Ben & Taryn but the board thinks Taryn isn't in the F2. That might be something to think about.

Well Happy, I do think there was a switch in Tim at his SPECIAL tree. He even said it while sitting under the tree with Sara. He said that earlier during the day he had beautiful dates with some sweet girls (Hailey & Jenna) but his date with Sara really blew him away so much that he had to go and rethink things. Before his date with Hailey in SB he even mentioned that the MMs want him to have 1&1 time with Hailey and Sara. I guess they were NOT seeing Jenna's relationship progressing. THE TURNING POINT WAS UNDER THE TREE. He knew he had a connection with Sara that is why he chose to take her to the SPECIAL tree that he has tattooed into his body.

So yes; Tim did have to rethink things. At the beginning of their date (Sara & Tim)he said to her that their last date under the tree ended on a good note. He also told her he had been missing her all week.

Because of all this rethinking, he became very cautious with how he is with the girls by not being too touchy or too close. Like his song says;" Hes been holding back so much, hes in reverse" So if you cant see the body language with Sara as we've seen with Jenna hes doing it on purpose. He said it not me. Just look at how he stares at her.


Tim's song;
I know I love her but I'm tongue tied.
I'm gonna wait until the moments right.

Remember he told Sara that he wished he had gone the Ernesto's route. Now why would he say that to Sara out of the clear blue sky. Sounds like he's reversing his tracks.

I also would like to point out, that before Jenna pushed Tim in the pool, he did have concerns about her timing and coming on the show. He DID tell her that she had to prove to him that she is ready for what he's offering. Now, other than the PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY (yes I know it's there; I see it) Sara sees it too, what else has she brought to the table. As Tim said while walking on the beach in SB, that there's great amount of chemistry between Jenna and himself
BUT this is HIS future hes talking about. (remember he's been divorced, I dont think he is trying to go down that road anytime soon if he can help it).

My goodness, you girls are having a real conundrum here regarding Sara and Jenna. Let me see if I can shed a bit of light on the two relationships. The relationship that Tim and Jenna have is kind where the two of you keep hoping that it will get better, but it never really does. The same kind of relationship that Brad and Jennifer had (except male and female roles reversed). The relationship that Tim and Sara have is the kind of relationship that the two of you want to build a family with. At this point in Tim's life and having coming out of a pretty bad situation, which relationship do you think Tim is going to go with? My bet is on the one with Sara. Same goes for Ben and Allie, the kind of relationship for starting a family. That is why going back to before episode 2, my bet has been on both Sara for Tim and Allie for Ben.

I have relooked at Sara's dress. At one point it looks Teal in color, another it looks green. The part that makes me feel it is the same dress is because it has a square neckline to it.

Blastin folks left and right could be PWT's. Dolly Parton could be Sara. We also know that his parents are out of town "supposedly in Texas". I think there is alot of cover up going on.

I need to point out I'm not saying they aren't in Texas. But I suspect Hailey, Sara, Tim, his parents are all together. JMO
