Darrica, as Hailey wrote, is her cousin, she was writing her own observations and sharing her own opinion of the episodes aired at the time. She might knew the outcome, so some of her comments might had been biased. But she always posted as a outside viewer, never "pretending" to know more.
Just saying.

And I got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. interested?

Love it...but I'm now pondering all this 'class act' stuff. And I have to admit I'm a little confused.

So, leading on a girl who's fiance died a year ago from cancer 'for story purposes...'
doesn't feel all that 'classy' to me. Not that much of the show did...
(Please Note handle of original poster...they also felt that sounded bad...)

Unless, of course, Sara L was aware and okay with the game?

Thoughts?

From everything I have heard here in Franklin, Sara in no way considered it a game.

Well. Then. The whole thing's just kinda sad. Night.

Docnash, can you elaborate on what you are hearing in Franklin?

I don't want to say much, frankly, to protect my sources as well as my anonymity. What I will say is that Sara was guided by her faith throughout the process and, thus, took the experience seriously. And by all accounts, her feelings for Tim were genuine.

Everyone went into this show with there eyes wide open .They are adults, lets not make some thing there that is not. As far a Tim being a great guy I am going to belive Jenna and Hailey about what they said After all they were there not us and I am sure Sara would agree.

Not the point all CMA. And more than a little curious as to how you know they went in with 'there (sic) eyes wide open."?

Eyes wide open to what, specifically?

Hailey told us Sara was scripted. Okay by me. But is it okay by Sara?
Seems like Hailey/Jenna still think Tim is a classy guy.
Then, I'm guessing Sara's in on it. Otherwise, why would they think that?

I'd think he was a total jerk if he lead her on to make better tv for 'story purposes."

Even though I don't think it was scripted per-say......But the bachelor/ette does it all the time especially if they want that person for the lead next time around like someone there is not much reality, in reality tv......

Agree. 1000 percent. But RFL just seems to take it a step too far. (The show takes EVERYTHING too far...the Barbie tubes, the berating of the harem of girls on stage by the MMs, telling them who they're supposed 'to be' to win the guy, playing up the joys of virginity...I mean, I could go on and on and on and on....)

But with Sara, it's just too tasteless to toy with her story. Sara's story is too real. Although, luvlady, maybe you know something. They told Sara she was the next star of the show...and she embraced the script. That would make sense. But everything Docnash is saying (with insider information) is that Sara DIDN'T do that.

Seems like there's an ethical issue at play here. THOUGHTS?
It's the nature of these dating shows. And it cannot be avoided. If you go on the show, as a lead, you are agreeing to do lead someone on and crush them. Period. If you go on these shows as a contestant, no matter what your back story is, then you are risking being led on. Period.

Mostly I wish that Sara had not done the show, and certainly not until after she had some other romantic relationships , post Timmy. But that was her choice.

Everything written on the Jenna thread completely backs her up.

I'm stunned that everyone is dancing around this elephant.
This is supposed to be a sleuthing site!
I think Sara took it very seriously, as most women who go on these shows, do. I think she must have been shocked and very hurt, as most F2's are (like Arie was last spring . Like Ben was when he proposed to Ashley etc. etc. etc. ) It's awful, to be sure , but it's the risk they take to find love on a show. The show has it's requirements. They cant call game over after episode 4 or 5.

Folks who are more vulnerable than others, should really stay away from participating in these shows.
But perhaps Sara has a different perspective now and I look forward to hearing it. But whatever she has to say -I certainly think that a big chunk of it will be just trying to rationalize her decision.

Bottom line: If she were my sister - I'd have begged her not to do it.

No not saying I know anything, but to me it's not that far reaching that the producers would do something like that....Even if Sara wasn't in on it.......
