My short answer...it's you guys...the girls. Most of Tim's girls are women who I would want to be friends with in the real world.

I can't relate to the pageant girls that were picked for Ernesto...totally not me. Shandi seemed great. I like her, but I can't see myself being friends with her. My life experience is so different. There was drama in that group from the get go as well.

Now, Ben, I totally liked his look, but was turned off by the way he was edited. Somewhere on here, I posted that he wanted to make out to see if there was a connection with him and the girl. To me that's backwards, if I have a connection emotionally with a guy, then I'd be open to making out with him (obviously if I weren't married). I did not like the way Ben approached finding his girl -- he felt a little too frat boyish for me. Also, his girls had the drama thing going for them immediately because of Kari. Jealousy seemed to rule that house...not my thing.

Back to your group, I also liked Tim. He seemed like a genuine guy. I was empathetic to his story from the outset. Even though he comes from the rocker world, he seemed like a real stand up guy. I completely believed he was in it to find a girl. He did not seem to have an ulterior motive.
Litta123 wrote:jonale25 brings up a good point -- Leah. I know this is going to sound like butt kissing, however, it's not intended to be. I really liked, Sarah, how you seemed to set the tone for your house in accepting that Leah had every right to be there, to see if there was a connection with Tim.

I really appreciated you saying that - to me, you came across as very classy ... someone who could trust in the bigger picture. It seemed like it wasn't a competition to you, but an opportunity to see who had that connection. It was a generous action on your part, IMO...even though the MM gave you a hard time about it.
gasuz wrote:Tim's girls seemed to get along for the most part....... also, most of us can really relate to one or more of the girls in the house (from our own past experiences)... easy to like most of you...
LoveThisStuff wrote:Missmoore, just FYI - you and Hailey were my top picks for Tim on the first episode. You both seemed so real and so fun. I immediately felt that you were both very genuine. Your poutiness (is that a word?) over having to sing was hilarious!

I know there was the drama between Siham and Jenna but I don't think it's possible to go through an experience like this without some drama. All things considered, it was mild (esp. compared to Ben and E's) and appeared to blow over quickly. Even Leah seemed to be sincere in her reasons for being there, no matter how much they tried to play up that being a huge drama. Tim saying goodbye to her 1st really made me admire him more. Letting her go came across as his way of taking care to guard all of your feelings as well as sending the message that he was there to meet someone and fall in love.
Just want to say thanks again for playing along with us!
On the same page with you.
I guess focusing entire Tim's first episode on you guys gave more "insight" of your "personalities" and I could immediately find some connection with my experiences and identify with some of you, particularly with Hailey (self-deprecation & being an "artist") and you Sarah (sarcastic, ironic humor and "over-thinker").
And then I followed to see, how much I've learned about human-characters over the past years, since everyone in my family says I'm too naive, gullible and "goodhearted" and don't see the world in the same "dark" colors, so trying to "understand" the motives and reactions became my hobby for these few weeks as I'm in the middle of transition (I know it would be much healthier if I would pick up fitness again).

I think I just figured out why I like Tim's house better. Everyone was natural and down to earth. No fake boobs, all natural teeth, and no over the top dresses.

I agree with all the reason given as to why I like Tim's 'house' better, but also want to add another one. Where Tim came across as genuine, my bs meter went off the chart the first time I listened to Ernesto, and that was way before the Eva gossip circulated.

I liked Ben at first, but as I watched him I got the sense that he is shallow and self-absorbed. I know my opinions of them are based on very little real knowledge of who they are, but that spidey sense was enough to make me lose interest in whether or not they found 'twu wuv.'

WOW! thank you ALL for answering my question! I really appreciate yalls insight and interest in all of us! It's so shocking how well yall can pinpoint personalities in such a short amount of time! It's weird to watch and know all the back stories, and know everything that wasn't aired, and yet see how well everyones personalities were portrayed.

It's so funny because we were all so worried that we would be the boring house that no one liked, because (like the Bach) everyone loves to watch drama! So, I am beyond flattered that you all can appreciate normal girls in a weird situation just trying to date a hot guy ;) And it means the world to hear yall say that you would be friends with us in real life :)

Tim sending Leah home so early, definitely sent a clear message that he wasn't here to play games or give the audience something fun to watch. It made me feel secure that I had picked the right guy, because I was taking the whole process very seriously since I was mending a broken heart.

I can NOT WAIT until the final episode so we can all chat about who Tim picked!!!!! eeeeeek! it can't get here fast enough! y'all are gonna DIE!

Can we take that to mean there's a twisty surprise? Without giving anything away, of course. PS: you are awesome.

twisty surprise as in I come back, demand Tim to pick me, the other girls go home crying and then Ernesto says "no, she's mine! I've wanted her all along"? not quite. That's just a day dream of mine haha. I'm just excited to see how it all plays out. and I'm excited to read your reactions -- whether your suspicions are validated or incorrect :) I'm just ready for yall to know so we can chat! It's a hard secret to keep, but it's going to be so fun to watch
