here's my theory about the leaving and coming back and the guys not being happy about it according to MF:

we know something is weird with drew being F4, according to RS, but then having caps of him at antigua, so i'm thinking what happened is des cut him after hometowns and then he came back later either on his own or by her request. we have to remember that hometowns are when des had her fiasco on sean's season so that is going to be in the back of her mind. it's interesting because things have a way of unconsciously repeating themselves in situations like these. drew's father is(was?) an alcoholic and drew comes from a messy home life. so, having her own HTD debacle from sean's season unconsciously in the back of her mind i can see des cutting drew because of his problematic family background. i think this will probably be a mistake and she should have cut zak and somehow drew comes back in time for either FD or FRC and the F2 guys, brooks and chris, are not happy about it. i don't know if des will regret her decision to cut drew and ask him to come back or if drew will just show up, but i think she'll realize she shouldn't have cut him. i say that because from the caps we have it sure seems she was really into him.

as for the rest i have no clue yet. maybe brooks leaves too? who knows. that would certainly be weird.

However, most returnees have NOT had a welcome like the one that Drew seems to have with Des - check her body language, the hand placement (both hers holding his, her kissing him, her legs on his etc.) in that scene on the Antigua hill-top. She is pretty good with him being there and so far except for Ed who self-eliminated rather than was cut by Jill, no eliminated returnee has ever been taken back and definitely not as happily. They are definitely on a date on that hilltop.
And, if she does 'take him back' so happily would she turn around and pick/end up with Brooks anyway the next day ? Somehow I doubt it. It's possiblethough.
I feel its Brooks that leaves at HTs because we have no SCs at all of him at FDs or LCDs. They could have deliberately left those on the cutting floor or there are none to show. Still if he (Brooks) returns at the very end would she be all comfy with Drew (hilltop) or Chris (beach) and pick him the next day ? So confusing.
Keep those ideas coming ladies&gents.

Wrong! Drew and his Dad have a fantastic and close relationship! So wrong on that, it's not even close.

hmm...maybe they do both leave and come back. that would be pretty awful for des. i could see if brooks left on his own it would be because of the incredibly long wait from having the very first 1-1 until his next 1-1 which i believe was right before HTDs. in the last RC he looked totally smitten with des so i could see him getting pretty disenchanted with waiting that long. certainly, if he left and came back no one would be happy about that including des and it would have them on shaky ground now like that spoiler from the guy on the joker's board. ugh, i hope it doesn't play out like this but it sort of makes sense. i do think drew probably does come back too and he'll most likely be the next bachelor.

I started looking in the Brooks and Desiree caps thread and got distracted by how freaking cute they are together! Geez, the avi I have doesn't come close to the way they look at each other. So cute! I got to check the cap only thread again.

First off, Drew being cut isn't the same as leaving and coming back. And his relationship with his Dad is WAY closer and better than Brooks' with his Dad.

We know that there are SCs of guys crying, someone consoling Des in the blue tee. Can someone listen to the voice(s) at the 2:09 mark, and tell me if you think it's Brooks or someone else who says through tears, "this is way worse than I thought it was going to be" and right after that, says, "there's nothing I can say ya know to make it better." I know that Brooks on their date did say "ya know" quite a few times. I think both of those could be Brooks, but I don't know if they edit it that way. Seems it could be two different voices but they sound so similar. This video came from Jokers. Anyone have any ideas?
