In my opinion, this concern, if not pre-occupation, about how she is acting and/or how Tim is receiving her is fostered not just for Sara but likely for all the girls by the matchmakers' "advice." And, specifically for Sara, I think she was trying to heed the advice given to her by Amber to show the other side of herself which can certainly exacerbate the inherent pressure on trying to make a good impression on a new love - especially when the girls are cognizant that there might be ramifications for not following the advice as in being sent to the garden. Frankly, as a psychologist who treats many couples, I am ambivalent about the matchmakers' roles here. While I am all for coaching (I often do role plays with my clients) to help the person access and express his/her real self, I am not into the advice that seems to me is intended to get a certain reaction out of the other person (i.e. kiss Tim on the neck). Seems too gamey to me which is the same reason I was never into the Rules book that was out several years ago. I remember clearly during my first marital therapy course in grad school the instructor advising us that "true intimacy is relatively game-less." (Relatively, of course, is a key word since all of us play games to a certain extent.)

Some moments speak volumes. Priceless memories. Yes the tree definately
had sentimental meaning for Tim. He didn't take just anyone there.

Do you think in a way he might have been saying goodbye emotionally to her? I mean he associates that tree with his ex-wife. She just seems to be trying to convince him so hard. ya know? I am going to re watch it. When I watched it the first time my mind was still wrapped around the train wreck that was Ben's date.

Fun episode last night!
I'm still happily on the Hailey-train! I think maybe even more so after this episode. I feel like Tim is really drawn to her and feels comfortable with her. There were some tender moments during their time together where they were touching and leaning into each other. We don't know what they were talking about during those times because the music was playing or there were voice-overs. Also, Tim is very sweet with her during the whole 'bottom two' scenario with the looks he gives her and when he kisses her on the cheek (touching her face). I can't help but wonder if there is more to their connection that is purposely being hidden from us. Even Hailey says that Amber doesn't know the connection she has with him. It will be interesting to see them kiss. I think that will really be telling.

So far it seems to me that Tim is holding himself back being cautious, even with Jenna. Their kisses are very sweet and tender but they don't seem passionate to me. Almost like he is still struggling with having an audience, which is completely understandable. In any case, I don't feel like he has really started having deep feelings for any of them to the point of being caught up in the moment yet. So I still think there is a pretty even playing field.
At this point I really think he could develop strong feelings with any one of the girls left.

Also, this may have been discussed previously but has anyone else gotten the impression from Hailey's social media that she may be planning to move to Austin soon?

I think Tim is definitely trying with Hailey, but I'm not seeing a love connection (yet anyway), I think he really likes her and think they'll be good friends after the show. She'd make an awesome bachelorette!

I agree about Tim being cautious with Jenna, he doesn't want to get heartbroken again, he's making sure she's in it for the long haul...can't imagine what they'd be like when he's all in! And it's funny what different people see because those two sizzle on screen, just the way they look at each other...makes one want to fall in love all over again. Love the look in Jenna's eyes when she's watching Tim sing and how she got a bit choked up talking about him in response to Bill's question...I think she's at that point where it's getting real and she's falling hard for him. Gotta remember it's scary for her too.

Yeah Lost17, it's funny how we all have different perspectives :) I suppose they all come from our own individual personal experiences.

I think she has already moved. She still has like 13 days of school left before summer break.

I got the feeling the tree represented his life with his ex-wife. It funny how once he's moved on to life with another woman, the tree was knocked down.

Echoing Lost's qualifying statement...

Lost, it was interesting to hear Jenna get choked up. In fact, I wasn't convinced I heard it right at first and had to replay a few times to be sure...definitely emotion in her voice. I still marvel at Jenna's ability to be in the moment and not over think things with Tim. She's enjoying it...and why shouldn't she. I liked that in a PI she talked about imagining this could be her life with Tim (touring on the bus).

I suppose one could think she was romanticizing it, but I see it as her trying it on for size, to see if it fits so to speak. It's consistent with her comment about wanting to have her adventures with him. Loved how she subtly let Tim know she was game for sharing a bunk because she likes to cuddle. In fact, I'm not sure Tim realized Jenna was in effect telling him she was open to becoming a part of his life. And yes, she also was also being territorial, too. Totally playing the GF role that Tracy wanted from her.

One thing I give Jenna a lot of credit for is how solid and confident she is on being there. She's hearing doubt from some of the other girls (Siham, in particular). I wonder how much she was aware of the other girls talking about her connection to Tim on camera...and that most of the girls were significantly doubting her maturity and substance. We know some of the MMs also doubted her to her face. That's a lot of pressure to be under. Even Tim questioned her. Just the situation alone of living with girls who were competing for the same guy...she did not crack...not like Kari or Allie. We've seen her get a little feisty and snarky in her PI's, but for the most part, she has been in control in her responses. Pretty good for a 23 year old if you ask me. She stands up for herself, but she's not overly defensive.

In fact, those were my husband's words about Jenna -- "she seems solid" -- meaning that she's there for the right reasons and is going after what she wants. He took her as genuine.
