Sean Lowe: It was time for Andy Dick to go


'Bachelor' says fellow 'Dancing' contestant lasted longer than he should have

"Dancing With the Stars" contestant Sean Lowe wasn't shedding any tears when Andy Dick was sent home Tuesday night because he felt it was time for the comedian to go. On Tuesday's results show, the comedian's slim hopes of winning the coveted mirror ball trophy were dashed after a valiant and inspiring effort. His farewell proved not only to be emotional for a tearful Dick but for his co-stars as well, who have grown close to one another over the course of the season.

But Lowe tells "E! News" that, although he has become good friends with the troubled star, he felt Dick overstayed his welcome in the competition. He reveals, "I was probably closer to Andy than I have been with any other male celebrity, so I'm sad to see him go. But I've made a friend for life. He probably lasted a lot longer than he should have." Dick has been hovering at the bottom of the leaderboard since the season began, scoring a weekly average of 19 out of a possible 30 points, but the support from viewers helped him stay in the running.

Sean is on the verge of making me dislike him VERY much... Quick, somebody buy this man an EGO....@@ I wish he really knew how dumb he looks trying to dance!!!!!

He didn't just say probably stayed longer than he should have, he said probably stayed a lot longer.

I wonder what Sean's answer would be if someone were to ask him, at what point in this competition do you think you would have reached the point of staying a lot longer than you should have?

Umngirl, the guy seems to be an arrogant prick . He hid it well in the edited version of him in TB, but now his verbal diarrhea is just showing
his true colors. There are just so many other things from TB to now. The stories of Selma and Ashlee, how he cannot handle
feedback from harmless people like Nate and Des. How he says he deserves a 9, deserves freebies even if it's a joke. There's just
so many other examples.

Would you say that to your competitor who just got booted out ? None of us (in this forum) would.

Because to me there is a difference between "It was time for him to go" and "He stayed longer than he should have" and "He probably stayed longer than he should have." The first two are very declarative in their nature. The third isn't.

And to answer your last question, yes. And I think Sean would say that directly to Andy and Andy would totally get that sentiment because he most likely agrees as well.

I dont think so, its the fan in you who is talking umngirl. Its the height of insensitivity. I really think we are only now having a clue of how
arrogant he really is.

Surely Sean didnt even think that Andy Dick has fans who are supporting him NOBODY as in NOBODY will be
caught dead, saying that to someone who just got booted out. Only Sean Lowe. And I really think he said that, I remembered he made
a cheap shot at Bachelor Pad, saying its trashy and I thought and TB is not? This is the way he speaks. His words reflect that he thinks he is much better than anyone else and deserves more. The self entitlement of this man is mind numbing.

Sean's comments remind me of things I've said to my volleyball teams. But there's a difference between telling them, "We probably should've been out of this tournament rounds ago" and "We belong at home not playing here."

I get that Sean has a lot of non-fans. I won't call them "haters" because I honestly don't think any of you care enough about him to hate him. But I totally get this comment and I agree. And I'm an Andy fan!

I actually think BachPad is trashier than TB. That's why it appeals to many people, including myself.

I think he knows how dumb he looks and that is why he says he can not dance. I think he knows that his fan base has kept him in the competition. I also think that Sean thinks the world of Andy and the same for Andy they both probably realize they lasted a lot longer than they shoud of . JMO

My first thought is "pot meet kettle" ..... too funny... him talking about Andy's dancing skills. Andy was at least entertaining and was humble about his abilities, Sean on the other hands seems to really think he's good and that's what makes this all so laughable. What a meathead.
